This company has a hard time completing a job correctly. When they do 90% and you ask them to finish it is as though they are doing you a big favour and consider it great customer service. I had major renovation work done inside and out – they damaged personal property, including antiques, and denied responsibility. They pulled out telephone cords to replace trim and left the cords in a pile on the floor. The vanities for the bathrooms weren’t ordered when we first talked about it, and therefore arrived a month after most of the other work was done. They ripped out one bathroom and it was 8 weeks until it was put back, and then they had to come back to fix the leaky sink and custom-made door that (still) won’t close. They severed the telephone cable outside and I had to arrange for it to be fixed (at my expense). Walls were not prepped before painting so all the dust and construction dirt got painted in. Cracks were not filled before painting. They didn’t protect the hardwood floor and managed to grind the finish right off. They didn’t cover the contents of closets so clothes and linens likewise got covered with construction dirt. Outside parging and waterproofing has left the area next to the wall sunk about 9” below the parging and the width of the trench. No idea what they did with the dirt that was there but it obviously did not get put back. There is a sink hole in the asphalt at the top of the driveway. The edge of the Interlocking brick has sunk. The new lawn is at the same height as the driveway but with an annoying trough between. There isn’t space here to list all the problems both inside and outside. And now that problems have surfaced after they were paid in full I can’t get them to come back or acknowledge my requests. I can, however, warn you not to be fooled by their big smiles.
