I recently purchased a 5 year old house and discovered
that there were a couple of deficiencies on my roof right above the soffits. 3 holes that allowed rain, sleet and ice enter the edge of the
roof at the facia. It seems that the builder's roofers had missed these spots. In fact the home inspector also missed them.
This is my 10th home and I have seen deficiencies with roofs on new homes a couple of times, leading me to think that having your roof checked thoroughly by a competent roofing company would be money well spent (an ounce of prevention being worth a pound of cure)
I dropped into chat with staff at AM roofing in Collingwood and they were able to match my shingle and gave me a piece free of charge,
saving me having to buy a whole bundle at a local big box store !
The holes were not significant and I was able to repair them myself.
However when the time comes to replace my roof I will be giving
