This company goes by various names, which is a bad sign that I picked up on way too late. The URL name is portesgarage repair, the website name is Garage Door Specialist and when I was invoices, it was Unique Garage Services. Finding a customer service rep is equally confusing and difficult.
Our garage door stopped working so I called this company, who claimed that they did not subcontract their work and that all technicians were their employees. The technician came, fixed a spring, but charged us 3x the quote, also told us the circuit board on the opener was broken and charged us over $500. He also charged us for a circuit board that he said was in his truck, but then it was, then promised to come back the next day and didn't. When he came back later in the week, it was the wrong circuit board and then he told us that he would need $300 more dollars to make the opener work when a new opener costs substantially less.
I have called the company to refund the cost of the circuit board and so far, it seems that no one in any or those three companies is responsible for customer service.
