Ecotech Windows & Doors

We needed our bedroom windows replaced so had reviewed several company's and got several quotes. The guy from EcoTech came in and measured, gave us a quote(which was very close to all the others) and told us they would be installed by the end of October. This was in early September of this year so we agreed that as long as they would be in before the cold weather that would work for us. He said someone else would be in the following week to re-measure but from the outside so not to worry if we weren't able to be home. We got a call mid October that he was coming to measure the windows which we thought had already been done as we gave permission for him to go into the backyard. Two weeks later we got a call that our windows would be installed DECEMBER 2. I called back the next day and said this was unacceptable as we were promised they'd be in by the end of October. The sales manager was very rude and asked what the problem was. When I tried to explain that I didn't want them installed in December due to the cold weather he said it's not a problem and he'd have another manager call me. Well that never happened so I tried calling back and all I got was answering machines. When I finally did speak to someone mid NOVEMBER they said the windows will be installed December 2 and that they will call us the night before to arrange a time. Well no one ever called so my husband took the day off work (without pay) so he'd be here. The installer called and said he'd be here at 3 pm. Needless to say it was snowing that day and at 2:00 pm he called my husband back and said he'd been held up for 2 hours at the manufacturer and could he come back tomorrow(Saturday). My husband agreed as he didn't want the installing the in the dark. I called the office to explain how frustrated we were and AGAIN the sales manager was extremely rude. He said it was a very busy time of the year for them and that we'd just have to accept the Windows the next day. I asked if he would compensate us somehow for all the time wasted and he put me on hold. When he came back on the line he said there was nothing he could do but that he would have another manager call us. You can pretty much guess NO ONE ever called!! The windows were installed the next day but have yet to hear from anyone at EcoTech. My husband and I both work in sales and believe that it is our job to please the customer as best as we can. After all without the customer you don't have a paycheque. We need several other windows replaced in the near future but you can bet we WON'T be calling this company again.

I replaced all the windows in my house and I was very satisfied with their work I even had them change the windows in my rental property The installers were fantastic very knowledgeable very polite and tidy definitely I would use this company again

We had a small flat window in our kitchen over looking our backyard. Mark from Ecotech suggested that we do a bay window. It turn out great we are extremely happy. Please use these guys.

Guys are very busy, but they do all they can to serve you quickly. Initially I wanted to change only two windows. They gave me a good quote and I couldn't resist taking the offer and I replaced all windows! I liked that before coming to discuss, they made sure I had previously a different seller give me their quote, to use it for comparison. Job was done neat and clean and fast. Thank you.

Ecotech did around 20 of my windows and my patio doors and I simply love it! The installation was quick and clean and they manage to get it done perfectly! Every work has a little flaw but ecotech was flawless.

Save yourself the headaches and go with a different company!
After doing an energy audit we found out we needed some windows replaced. We got prices from 4 different companies and we decided to go with ecotech which wasnt the cheapest but we wanted to be safe with our investment and thought it was a well organized company. Technicians were very busy so we scheduled weeks ahead for the install. The day came and noone showed up. I called the office and i was told they might be stuck un traffic. I called back a few hours later and was told i wasnt scheduled that day but on a day that made no sense to my schedule. I did some research and i was not the only one who had this happen to them. So i took the hit and lost a days pay for nothing. After arguing on the phone for half an hour they agreed to install on a saturday. Tecnicians came, installed the windows and made me aware that 2 of the windows were ordered wrong as per his notes (opened the wrong way) and to take it up with the office. I said fine, spoke with my sales guy and was forwarded to Dina at head office. She said i will look into it and i will call you back. 2 days later still no call, i contacted my sales rep and he couldnt get an answer from them either. I called the office again and Dina reassured she was going to look into it but had to "call the installer" but she would call me back in 10 minutes. Well the day came to an end and still no call back. I called the next day and still no one picked up the phone.
I have been trying to find out what happened for a week and a half now and still have no answer, no apologies, no reassurance that ecotech stands behind their product and will correct the issue. I wonder how the warranty process is like. All i get is the runaround from everyone.
I am left with no answers, very frustrated and unfortunatelly i will have to take this simple matter have put our hard working savings at risk.
Dont make the same mistake. Go with a different company.

Got all our windows done exceot the basement. Ecotech did a fantastic job with the work. Job was done cleanly and professionally. 10 out of 10

Had windows replace is September 2015 and it now November 2016, over a year. and I still have one window that they have never caulked.. I have called and e-mailed and I am told that they will send someone.. No one has ever showed up... I am now have to pay for the repair and damage on my own... thanks Ecotech..

Ecotech is a real professional business. They are wonderful people. We are super happy with the work that was done at our home. Scott the sales rep did a great presentation with the window and patio door and made me feel knowledgeable and confident and won our business. We are very happy we choose this company.
