United Roofing was first recommended to me by my insurance company as one of their preferred vendors to replace my roofing that was damaged by hail. I was contacted by Patrick Genest, the company owner, shortly after completing my claim with the insurance company. He was very accommodating in meeting with us at times that were convenient for us. He went through the entire claim and estimate with us and described all of the work that needed to be done and also provided options we had with respect to work that could be done as part of the insurance or handled directly by us.
I was so impressed with Patrick that I asked him about providing a quote to redo/replace our siding which has been in need of work for the last 3 or 4 years. He provided us a price for the full siding replacement along with soffit and fascia to match that was significantly lower than a price we had from another contractor who we has used for previous work. The siding crew supervisor (Daniel) and both the roofing and siding crews were extremely courteous and their workmanship was excellent. When work was completed Patrick did a full walk through with us and identified a couple of small items that he called his painter back on. The only glitch during all the work was a few stray nails that ended up on the street in front of the house that caused a flat in my neighbour's tires. However Patrick made good and paid for the repairs. I've suggested to him that a more thorough clean-up is an area for improvement.
