Small Jobs Specialist

Daniel has helped with a number of small jobs and was impeccable in his workmanship and tidiness. Joe has a great reputation and was recommended by my friend.

Some of the jobs Daniel completed:
Installed a light fixture, silicone caulking of my shower, repaired my gate which was sloping and not closing well and added a new latch.

Also helped me install heavy mirrors and pictures seamlessly and is very meticulous. Offers great solutions ands advice .

Daniel is a very conscientious handyman, skilled and meticulous, I highly recommend this company.

Daniel came to repair/re-install the soap dish from my bathtub tiled wall. He did an excellent job and cleaned up everything. He was very polite, very respectful and very knowledgeable. He also gave me some recommendations for small kitchen repairs and I'll be following up with him. Definitely recommend this small independent business!

Had small jobs specialist come and install my bathroom vanity they did a great job friendly service and good work 10/10.

Please BEWARE of this business! They caused a fire in my basement while soldering washer valves and covered up the damage so I would not know the true extent of it! They operated without any safety equipment and I had to run up and get my personal fire extinguisher to put out the fire.

It was only a week later that I got suspicious when I saw molten plastic in a cabinet above the fire location. When I opened up the air vent on top, I saw the fire had damaged major wiring going into the electrical panel next to the washer! I immediately notified them but they refused to pay for the damage caused and ghosted my calls and messages thereafter. I had to rip out all the cabinets and drywall to replace all the burnt wires. BEWARE, this business is located on my street and even then they have behaved this way.

I waited long to post this review as I tried to resolve my complaint through available business dispute mechanisms and it is now posted on their website as well which can be searched up by searching for reviews on this company.

Joe was amazing with his prompt responses and service. He was quite knowledgeable of what the job would cost and the cost was reasonable. Daniel came out to do the job and he was professional, on time, polite and did an amazing job. I would definitely be hiring this company for more jobs around my house.

I had my drywall ceiling repaired with Small Jobs Specialist and be happy with the result. They showed up on time and completed the job nicely. Their price is also reasonable. Highly recommended!

The installer arrived early to install my range hood microwave. He completed the job and conducted himself professionally. I did not anticipate the fan exhaust piping or the exhaust cover outside the house. The gentleman completed the inspection and installed a new exhaust cover including a rodent barrier. This was above and beyond what I had contr
acted them to do and very much appreciated the effort. I will not hesitate to contact them again.

Hired them to do drywall repairs, touch up drywall and install light fixture. Two visits each costing $100 more than estimate. Total cost $1200 CASH!!! Drywall repairs poorly done and unfinished. Gave Daniel new coil for dryer vent - instead Daniel created an eyesore joint using old pieces.

When I reached out to Joe (the owner) and I was greeted with silence - see the 1 star google reviews to see photos of the work that Daniel did in my home. See the other one star review on google details his response when the home owner would not pay him more than the quoted cost.
I had to get someone in to check the lighting fixture install because I didnt have any confidence that this was safely done. I was glad I did because the wires were just attached with no electrical box. I wish I never hired them. The guy that fixed the repairs did a beautiful job on my dump of a home. I guess the owner listed to the voicemail message I left where I stated that I was so stressed out - having spent my money on poorly done repairs I was watching online videos to try to figure out how to fix / finish the work. I felt betrayed and overwhelmed. Again my call wasnt returned.
