I hired mighty movers to move my furniture and belonging from my two storage lockers to my new apartment all on the north shore. Firstly Bill called on the morning of the move to say they would be at least an hour late as on of his employees was having car trouble. He then phoned back to see if they could be two and a bit hours late as his employee now had to take a bus to meet up with them.
The move its self was was longer than I thought but the men were pleasant. As the men were bringing my couch in the apartment they forced it through the door and ripped it, Bill said no problem he would have his "guy" come and fix it. Although I paid cash I explained that I needed a
receipt for my taxes, again Bill said no problem he would get it to me. It has been three months and many unreturned phone calls but I have not had my couch fixed and not received a receipt. On a side note I had many many broken pottery pieces easily over a thousand dollars as well although I can't prove it was them or the movers that place my belongings in storage Iunfortunately wonder now. The whole move cost close to eight hundred.... More than quoted

. We did not break any of the items and when we arrived at storage where her previous movers put her pointed out all the breakage and how not a single thing was wrapped and that everything was just thrown in on top of each thing. So with regards to the breakage we did not do any of it.
As for a receipt one was mailed out months ago as we would never keep someone from having a receipt for their move that they paid for.
Thirdly we moved a 3 bedroom house for the price of $800 which had stairs and were made to park a football field in length away from the house.
So the move took quite a long time considering there was a dozens and dozens of boxes that had to be taken up these stairs.
While working hard all these hours we really appreciated you all eating kfc chicken in front of us and not even offering a glass of water let alone a piece since we had been working hard for 6 hours going up and down your stairs.
