Hands down the best contractor I have ever hired. Damian came in to do some core work on a home we purchased. He was one of a few different contractors we hired and by far the best. His quality of work was fantastic but above that he was great to work with. He and his team took my requirements and worked with me to develop an executable plan. On the project onset he set clear expectations, documented what we wanted and delivered all he committed to. He kept the project on schedule and we had regular update meetings and walk through’s to ensure he was meeting our expectations. His team was very professional, showed up when they said they would and didn’t do something if there were not sure or needed to check with me. He has also stayed in contact since he finished, always making sure we had everything we needed and helped with any questions I had. My home has now been re appraised after all has been complete and we have realized a 100K + increase in value. I can’t say enough how happy I am with his work, and when I need to hire another contractor can guarantee he will be the guy I call. Damian, thank you.

First, let me tell you we are first time home buyer (1.5 year) and we were total newbies with renovations. This is our first project: opening our kitchen and insulate properly our basement.

We are totally satisfied with Lindsay Contracting's work. Damian is extremely professional, presented to us a formal quote, took pictures and notes when we met for the first time.

When we started the project and for all the duration, he and his team were always on time (if not early!), very professional, patient (yes we had indeed lots of questions) and knowledgeable. Damian and his foreman David took the time to explain and to propose the best option with no last minute extra-cost surprise, full disclosure and honesty. Our place was left clean every night and Damian gave us a call nearly every night to follow up on details and to make sure we were happy with job delivered on the same day.
This project was really a partnership and highly recommend Damian and his team, he is a gem...and he is on my speed dial for my next reno project.

Damian and his crew recently completed a 3 month renovation on the main floor of our home, including complete gut job on the kitchen.

From start to finish he was courteous, prompt and took great pains to ensure my family was as comfortable as we could be while living through the reno. He and Roy did most of the work themselves and were always accesible to answer questions.

Every piece of the renovation – from the refinished existing hardwood which is indistinguishable from the brand new installed floors, to the custom made built-in desk, all-new mouldings, crowns and baseboards, glorious new back deck and brand new top to bottom kitchen – Damian's team was always on time and on budget.

When there were problems, Damian took extra time and care to resolve them quickly and make sure things were done right - to my satisfaction as well as his. In the end, I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend Damian to anyone.

As someone new to home renovations, I feel fortunate to have Damian and his team on my project. He came highly recommended and it was well deserved. Damian provides detailed quotes, makes helpful suggestions and is patient with newbies. He and Dave did meticulous work, were friendly, tidy and hard-working--they all take a lot of pride in their work. My bathroom turned out great and I look forward to continuing to work with Lindsay Contracting.

We recently had to do some insulation and drywall work in our basement. After talking with several people, we settled on Lindsay Contracting and we are very happy that we did.

If there is a nicer man than Damian out there, then I have yet to meet him. Damian went above and beyond to make sure that all our needs were met and even suggested options that we hadn’t even considered to improve the final product. Damian seems to be the rare contractor who listens to what you want instead of telling you what you want. He was always open to change, which was good given that the job changed scope several times. He also came in on estimate – no small thing in this day.

Working with Damian and Roy, we always felt like someone genuinely cared about solving our problems and not just completing a project. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, knowledge and level of customer service.

As a telling aside, Damian and Roy became such a part of our family while they were here that our boys decided to name our Christmas Elf after them.

We needed to sound proof two bedrooms in our semi-detached house and at the same time have three small closets made into a larger one. Damian's offer was competitive with the advantage that he could start right away. The crew arrived at 8:00 am every day and cleaned the site at the end of each day. The work was completed on time and on budget. Damian paid a lot of attention to the small details and recycled materials such as baseboards and trim. Overall, we're very happy with the results - the sound proofing works and the bedrooms look good.

We needed a transition from our dining room to our family room. So we basically needed a big hole in the wall. Damian came over, took a look at the job and got us a quote within a week. When the job started, there were complications, but they presented the alternatives to solve it and still make it look great. The job didn't take too long, and they left the house clean and paint ready as requested. We are very happy with the hole in the wall that has added value and convenience to our home.

I got a permit for a basement walkout but because it required underpinning the quotes I got from various contractors were really high. Lindsay Contracting gave a reasonable quote and since they were recommended I decided to go with them. They came prepared with a contract detailing their responsibilities and what they cover, which I found very professional (not all contractors provided this documented service and I've had to hand write bullet points of what I expect). We had an issue where the walkout was beside a shed with no foundation. Roy, the foreman?, was able to suggest building part of the walkout wall under the shed, thereby adding a foundation to the shed while building the walkout at the same time. I appreciate how they are solution oriented when unexpected things come up and they are extremely knowledgable about what is to code and what is not, which is helpful for working around situations that come up. They are also able to explain in layman terms for someone who is inexperienced with home renos unlike other contractors that we've spoken to. They also gave the best estimate for completion and basically stuck to it. The best is the final product, which is AMAZING! Everyone who has seen the work, including other contractors are impressed with it. I can't be more pleased with this company and have since asked them to come back to help with other things. We also asked them to waterproof the interior of our basement, replace the wooden beams and posts with steel and level our floors. Basement height was a concern as a late realization, but they worked with us and now I have no complaints with the final basement height after renovations.

Great price, solid work. Complete gut and re-build of bathroom. Crew stayed on site and got the job done in 2-weeks and kept work within business hours (9-5), key for me with 2 kids in the house. Minimal disruption to house, kept job site clean. Definitely plan to use them again for 2 upcoming projects next spring and summer. Both Damian and Roy are also just plain great guys to work with.
