I contracted Canada Furnace to replace my boiler last year and ended up with one of the worst experiences possible. First, I was sold the boiler as a rental without giving me any copy of terms and conditions. When I was finally given a copy I realised it was a bad idea, so I sent written request to change to purchase. I got written conformation back form CF's agent about change to purchase agreement .
This was the start, the installation came and went no one turned up for installation. It was only after I called, I was informed they will be coming the next day.
Installation took two days more than informed causing me to change my work schedule on daily basis.
Part of installation package was not delivered as promised.
One week later some issue arose with the boiler, a technician promptly came the next day. This is when I find out I am still renting the equipment as per their records.
It took another 2 weeks of frantic emails and phone calls to get this sorted.
It has been over a year now I still don't have a receipt or installation papers in-spite of 20 or so emails and multiple phone calls.
I have given up !!
