An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My wife and I found Joe on Homestars and got him to give us a quote. Out of the three companies we got quotes from, we liked Joe the best, plus his quote was very reasonable and he didn’t charge extra for zero voc paint, which was important to us. Also based on the amount of great reviews and rating his company already had on Homestars we were sure that he would do a great job. We will definitely be calling Joe again to paint our basement once it has been developed. The attention to detail in the preparation and painting made such a big difference in how good our upstairs in our house now looks and we had to write this review to say thanks.
