Paint It Right

We hired Mike to paint our whole house--inside and out. This was a massive project and I was a little nervous but Mike had been highly recommended by someone I trust.

From start to finish, we were extremely impressed. Mike clearly knows what he's doing and takes a lot of pride in his work. He's an excellent painter and holds himself to a very high standard, refusing to ignore minor things like a little flaw in the drywall or flecks of paint on the window. (He even repainted our banister after the carpet removers rubbed off some paint). I cannot find a single flaw in the work he did.

He gets a heck of a lot of work done in a single day. He painted the entire exterior of our house in just a few days and did such a great job that neighbours stopped by to comment on it and ask for his card.

On a personal note, we found Mike to be really friendly and trustworthy. He always kept us apprised of how the project was coming along, offered suggestions, asked questions, and clarified instructions to make sure there were no surprises or problems. It really increased our confidence.

This is the second time my husband and I have done a big renovation on a house but it's the first time we've had a contractor do exactly what they said they were going to do: on time and on budget with no 'additional' expenses that hadn't been factored in. We feel we got great value for what we paid
