Built me a deck in 2021. Just found out he didnt get permits for the deck and now I have to deal with the city. He now blames me for not getting the permits because apparently I declined them? What contractor does a job without getting the proper permits?? Its his job to know what permits are needed and get them, thats why you hire a professional- which he apparently isnt.
