Reborn Renovations

My ~40 year old cedar pergola attached to the front of my house had some dry rot. Brett, from Reborn Renovations, came out and investigated and quoted. The pergola, for the most part, was replaced and capped to prevent future damage on the horizontal surfaces. Reborn Renovations was very easy to work with and Brett was quick to come up with a plan to fix this pergola. The crew, who worked on the job, were very experienced and did an outstanding job. I'm totally satisfied with the finished product.

We wanted to make our 30 year old kitchen more functional (and add an island) by knocking down a wall and expanding with new cupboards as well as refinishing the oak hardwood and refreshing the main floor with paint, baseboard and new doors. We are so happy with the final product. Chris was easy to work with and always responded quickly to our questions and concerns. All the trades that worked on our reno were professional, friendly and paid attention to small details. We love entertaining our family and friends in our new kitchen and sitting around our island. We are very happy that chose Reborn to complete this project on time and on budget.

I am so very pleased with the results from Reborn Renovations! They did great work on our kitchen. It turned out better than I could have imagined! Each day, we could see progress... and before we knew it, it was all finished. Chris and his team worked so hard to ensure that they would be able to complete the renos on time. I highly recommend RR and all of the men and women who came through our door. We had a few painting touch-ups that required attention, and without fail, someone came to ensure that they were done. Although our renos did go over budget, it was for unseen circumstances that included under-flooring that was not detected during the estimate, and air-uptake vents that were hidden in the wall being removed. It was great working with Chris; he was able to find the middle ground to ensure both my husband and I were each getting our must-haves. Chris ensured that he took off all the pressure, and he was always there with great advice and options to keep the prices down to make my husband happy.

Murray was our project manager for our master bathroom reno and he did an *amazing* job. We especially appreciated his care and attention to detail. Having never done a bathroom reno before we really appreciated that he consulted with us all the way through the reno and helped us through the decision making process. We now have a bathroom that is beautiful and functional. It was built with really great care and attention. Thank you Murray!

Chris ....I can't say enough about all the help you gave me. After my contractor fired herself from my bathroom reno and left me in a bind with poor quality workmanship and a lot of problems you provided the names of some wonderful tradespeople who helped me out immensely....after explaining the issues I was having you kindly passed on some qualified above board and skilled tradespeople. I was just looking for a cabinet maker when I talked to you and you explained that you don't handle jobs that small but you wanted to restore my faith in contractors and that all were not shady and deceitful and took pride in their work....you then spent a considerable amount of time on the phone taking down my information and passing on my name to qualified trades...I am extremely grateful for your help and if I am ever in need of a large renovation I would certainly call Reborn Renovations to do the job..

This is our second project with Reborn, a complete renovation of en-suite and powder room. Same project mgr, Nathan Thormoset, accountable, meticulous, competent and such a gentleman. You can trust him to watch for issues, problem solve and be on top of all coordination with trades. Frank and George totally impressed us with their trade skills, problem solving ability and professionalism. Kevin the electrician is honest and efficient, totally flexible to adapt to our changing needs as the projects progressed. Love the product selection with Danielle and Don. She has such an artistic eye and a mind for details, we are very happy with the beautiful end results. With the best warranty in the industry, both projects on time and within budget, Reborn will always be our top choice for any home renovation projects.

We were very cautious about finding a good quality professional contractor. We had never been through a renovation before and had heard that it can be very challenging. Many people told us to expect time delays and add-on costs. We were extremely pleased with the team assigned to our kitchen project. The work was done to our specifications, on budget and on time. There were minor follow up items but they were all completed without me having to follow up. I love my new kitchen. Many thanks to Reborn and especially Danielle and Frank.

The Operations Manager for our renovation was fantastic. Chris took it over after a bit of a rough start and promised a timeline for completion of our project and thankfully was done right on time. The quality of the work by all of the trades was fantastic and they went above and beyond on several occasions including some re-spraying of some cupboards from our previous renovation. Chris checked in on us on a regular basis, asked us how things were going and if there were any concerns. All of the trades showed up on time and they were very careful to not be too disruptive with our regular day to day life which is tough when you have 2 bathrooms being done at the same time. It was difficult to keep things dust-free but every effort was made to keep it clean as possible which we appreciated given that most trades do not take care when it comes to that. Other than the sanding process of the drywall where there was extensive dust all over our closet, we were relieved by the low level of dust and debris. With Chris in charge of your project you can be sure that you will receive great service, great suggestions and a willingness to help get your project done on time. One thing that I would recommend that could be changed is the initial process with the sales team. Pricing was a bit off as we had a budget to work with and we came in over budget on this project. More than I would have liked. We loved the end
product but the sales process needs to be improved as this prevented us from moving forward in the beginning and Chris rescued the process. Thanks to Chris and his trades we have 2 fantastic and very functional bathrooms for our kids and ourselves. I would highly recommend Reborn and especially if Chris is in your charge of your renovation.

I can’t say enough about the team of people Reborn has. Especially my project manager Chris. First off, we heard nothing but horror stories, (about other companies) if we left the country , leaving them to accomplish the project in our absence. However this team was amazing! Down to the smallest details! Just ask Chris how picky I was. Chris was very reachable at all times and answered and solved all my questions. Designer Danielle was a great help in helping us make decisions. All in all I would highly recommend this company.
