We worked with Fairney and Sons to undertake both the waterproofing and renovation of our basement. The waterproofing also involved removing and then replacing the entire slab in our basement. The work was on schedule and on budget, and everybody was excellent to deal with. The crew were friendly, meticulously clean, and did an excellent job. We were very impressed with the speed and efficiency with which the project was completed. We were kept up to date through photographs while the work took place, and were consulted every step of the way.

For the renovation, we worked directly with Grant and Sonny to completely finish our basement. We can't say enough about how great they were to work with. They were creative, open to input and ideas throughout, friendly and energetic, and above all meticulous both in keeping impacts to us and our kids minimal throughout the job as well as ensuring every detail was taken care of. It was obvious that they took our project, and us being completely happy with the end result, very seriously. There were no surprises in terms of costs, and we were always presented with options throughout the project. I would highly recommend them to others (and have done so) and would work with them again in a heartbeat. As a bonus, our kids loved having them around. Undertaking a renovation can be a very stressful undertaking, but they proved it doesn't have to be.

Before the reno we had Bill and his crew waterproof and replace the floor in the basement, so it was a no brainer to have the Fairney team renovate the space. Grant, Sonny and Carly did excellent work with the re-design for my vision of the space. Always friendly and willing to explain the best and cost efficient way to proceed when answering my many questions. I must also mention that the work area was always left clean and safe at the end of the work day. If we decide to have any further work done on our house, we will certainly call Fairney and sons !

Bill coordinated a waterproofing of our basement and the work took 2 days as promised. When we noticed an existing problem, he stayed on to hep us diagnose a plumbing issue and coordinate a plumber to come in within a few days to resolve everything. He maintained good contact throughout the job and sent pictures of the works being done. We would definitely use them again, and recommend to others.

Fairney & Sons is a great company and I would highly recommend them. They were referred to me by a friend and I was very happy I called them. Bill was very friendly, professional and was there every step of the way. The crew was quick, clean and did a quality job. We had a new flat roof as well as new shingles done on the back part of our home. We plan to call Bill in the new year to complete more shingles on the front of the house. Great job guys!

Had used Fairney & Sons for exterior waterproofing after a basement flood and Bill came through again with a garage roof repair. Hector and Paul arrived the next day and did an excellent job. They completed the work in 2 days, including replacing some bad plywood, re-shingling the roof, replacing old fascia and new eaves and leaf guard, as well as cutting back some overhanging branches. Bill regularly dropped by to check on the progress and they cleaned up and left us happy. We plan to have Bill back in the spring to repair some masonry work and look forward to another great experience.
