Squeak Knights - Squeaky Floor Silencing

Our hardwood floors were very squeeky. Lev came out and spent several hours evaluating our floors. He was so knowledgable and his team was great. We now have slient floors.

Lev provided an excellent consultant of what and how is done to reduce or eliminate squicking on my staircase and a landing zone. He was thorough and selective in determining the exact area where the repair is needed.
The workers were punctual, completed work on time, with absolutely no visible traces of the repair work. The end result is excellent, my staircase is now completely silent.

We had a wonderful experience with Silent Floor Solutions after buying a Groupon certificate for an assessment. Living in an old house in Toronto with 2 young children, we were desperate to fix our noisy stairs and this company did just that! When we noticed a squeak somewhere else after their work, they were very friendly and agreed to come assess it. Would definitely recommend this company to others!

Silent Floor Solutions did our upstairs bedrooms in 2016, and they are still lovely and quiet!! The drill holes are only visible if you look closely at the floors. Very professional, and I would highly recommend their service.

I have laminate installed on the second floor 3 years ago and experienced the squeak problem 1 year ago. Almost everywhere. Lev came to my house and did the assessment. The stairs to our third floor are the original stairs; over 130 years old. They were so noisy the last year we couldn't go downstairs in the morning for fear of waking the kids.

The guys who showed up were diligent and patient. Now our stairs silent! (Well one has tiny squeak but if you saw the shape of the stair you would be amazed).

It is amazing to see the difference! Truly amazing. They probably took out 99.999% of the squeaks.

A very good experience. The best decision i ever made to fix my squeaking floors, which were not old. It was not worthy to replace them. Lev - "the master mind" behind this efficient solution. He assessed my floors, explained the situation to me thoroughly. His employs executed very carefully. Money very well spent to fix the noise, without spending an arm and a leg. Lev came over to my place today to inspect the flooring, and he provided me with all the information that I need towards the next steps to correcting the issue. In the time that he discussed it with me, I feel like I know all there is to about problem flooring. You couldn't ask for a more knowledgable, nicer, and humble person than Lev. We had a really squeaky floor in our upper hallway (strip hardwood). We have 2 small children and hoped to stop walking on eggshells and waking them with the noise.

Lev was very nice... i did notice that a LOT of the conversation we had was with regards to how to minimize cracking after the squeakd were fixed. A LOT of conversation. I should have followed my gut and not wasted out money.

Once the floor was covered in holes and patched there were no more squeaks. But now the wood cant move AT ALL. So when wood is stressed and cant flex... it makes a cracking noise. Its as bad or worse than the squeaking issue, and we spent SO much money.

I cant tell you how disappointed I am in the experience and how bothered I am by the lost money. Every time I walk the hall I am reminded of what an absolute waste of time and money that was.

The worst is how I talked my husband into it, and how skeptical he was... and how I will now hear about it for as long as we own this home.

Ultimately so much more than disappointed with the results... we are worse of than when we contracted them.
