My husband and I were interested in making the footprint of our house more environment-friendly, and were thinking about installing solar panels for a long time.
Initially we were thinking of solar hot water and photovoltaic, but as photovoltaic panels still proof to be very costly, we decided to start with solar hot water.
We contacted Geoff Domenico from KCP Energy, and he and his employers gave us very valuable background information on solar hot water, and which panels to use, and why. Once we had confirmed the installation, it took no time for them to come and install the system, and whenever we had questions about the system and how it works, they came back and explained everything in a more than timely manner!
Obviously the home improvement subsidies have aided us financially tremendously, and we received a reimbursement of $3000, which made the solar panels affordable for us.
We are tremendously happy with the system, knowing that most of our hot water comes from renewable energies, installed and maintained by real professionals who care!!
