Contractor hires low cost labourers and not professional for the job, tiles they installed were chipped, unaligned and grouts are not even done properly. He swore at me and said I was too picky about the job. Three professionals came to look at the work and all commented the same thing "this is definitely done by someone who has never tiled before". Contractor refuses to fix it and wants to put a lien on my house and threaten to call city of calgary to say I am doing renovation without permit, despite me asking him to make sure permits are in place if I need one.
