Dear F., We greatly appreciate your three HomeStars reviews of our work for you and your husband in 2015, 2018 and now 2023. It was great to hear from you again this year, although very unfortunate that the flagstone cladding had lifted from your poured concrete multi-level front walkway. Ordinarily, this should not have happened, but it appears that the contractor (who pre-dated us) had not properly bonded the flagstone units to the poured concrete pads. For flagstone cladding installations, we always specify Kwik Mix Stone Bond Premium Mortar Mix in our quotations for optimum results. Removal and cleaning of all of the flagstone units is a somewhat delicate and labour-intenstive process before the flagstone can be re-installed; but now your walkway looks brand new and is secure under foot! And the textured sealant that we applied will enhance that stability. All the best, Angelo
