I had SIS come in to replace all the windows in my place Last summer. Through out the time they did not clean left nails on hardwood floors. Metal pieces all over the yard. Tried to double dip on extras on cost. To top it off they did not seal a window properly and my hardwood floors is wrecked due to water leakage. I recommend you to not hire this company. Thank you for posting your review and giving us the opportunity to remedy this situation to your satisfaction as well as to let future customers know that we do care about completing each job according to industry standards and building codes (at minimum). We are sorry that the experience that you had with your window installation project did not go as smoothly as expected.
In regards to the service issue that you are experiencing, we take all of our requests for service very seriously and always respond to them in a timely fashion. We did receive the voice mail that you left on Thursday evening (April 30th) in our after hours mailbox and our Service Department then contacted you at 9:00 am Friday morning (May 1st). This was the first indication to us that there may be a service issue with one of your windows and we, of course, will have any issue related to our work rectified as soon as possible.
The clean up issues that you mentioned (metal pieces and nails) have been brought to the attention of the crew that was working on your home, as of course our aim is never to cause any damage to the homes' of our customers.
The double dipping that you refer to was in regards to extra work that was done repairing and completing the extensive water damaged wood framing on your house. We of course, always repair and replace water damaged wood framing (wood rot & mouldy wood) and reseal the building envelope before and during the installation of any new windows, doors and siding to ensure the integrity of your home against any water leakage.
