Bad hardwood and even worst customer service

Deception, bad quality, poor customer service.......…comes to mind. The couple sold us a bad product, and then didn’t even bother to remediate the situation. After multiple emails and phone calls with Kumar led to no results. The hardwood they sold us is cracking, its easily scratches, is uneven and looks ugly. Do not deal with them as they sound very nice till they get your money. Pay little bit extra somewhere else but at least you will have a better product and service.

Approximate cost of services:
$10,000.00

Company Response

In response to customer complaint above, this is our explanation:

1. Customer came with his wife to select the hardwood. Chose the product and the colour. We do not tell our customers what to choose or buy. It is up to them.
2. All hardwood scratches and dents if you don't take care of it.
3. Customer's sub-floor was uneven when we installed the floor. We mentioned this problem to the customer but he said go ahead and install.
4. Cracks can happen if the humidity level is not mantained. We specifically told him to maintain humidity level as well tell this to all our customers.
5. Both husband and wife chose the colour and we did not influence their decision in any way.
6. The hardwood customer selected is North American red oak and customer selected a dark colour as it was their preference. We gave the customer a complimentary full cleaning kit and explained to him how to maintain his floor. The rest is up to him.
