Wow!!!

I was hesitant to start a major basement renovation as it's not something I had done solo before. However, I made the best decision choosing Finished Basement! The team was absolutely top notch. Each specialist asked for my vision, provided options, patiently answered questions and kept me informed every step of the way. I was put at ease from the beginning. Their showroom offers a wide variety and ranges of styles to choose from. From my first inquiry call with Vitaliy, to consults with our Contact/Estimator Andrew, to walk through with our Design Consultant Natalie, to Plumber Yuri, to Master Electrician Igor, to Taper Alex and the many tradespeople and technicians, my daughters and I were treated with the utmost respect, professionalism and care by all. Covid protocols were followed consistently, the process was never painful and always consultative.

The end result was beyond my expectations, done in 14 days with the absolute highest standards. The workmanship can be seen in the smallest details to the biggest. I couldn't ask for more and we are so very happy and excited to use our new space! I would wholeheartedly recommend Finished Basement. They truly made this renovation the easiest reno our family has ever done. I can't recommend the FinishedBasement.ca team highly enough. Five years ago they finished the basement of our townhome in north Burlington and completely transformed the space; when we moved to a detached home this spring there was only one company we wanted to finish the basement. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. This company is extremely professional -- from initial consultations through to final payment, service is exceptional, always promptly responding to any questions or concerns. The crew shows up on time, always professional and tidy. You always feel like you're in good hands. With this second job, the actual costs were slightly lower than the estimate, and we were promptly paid the credit. The payment schedule is a relief for first-timers, as payments are coordinated with the completion of various stages. E.g. you don't worry about whether they're going to show up to finish any work because you only pay them for what they've done. Not that that would be a concern because they move fast (our unfinished basement was completed in >2 weeks) and know their stuff. The feeling for us was one of getting highly professional and highly skilled contractors at competitive & reasonable rates. This is an awesome team and we tell all of our friends to call them if they need a basement.

We needed the basement to be completed within 3 weeks and contacted finished basement. They were extremely professional from sales with Andrew, Design with Natalie and the workmanship with Igor and team. They came in at 7:30 every morning and finished around 6 pm. The work was completed in around 12 business days and my wife and I love our basement.

I try and tell everyone how great this company is. They work so hard ! I couldn’t believe it some days they worked until 10 pm to get the job done. They were very neat and always left the job site clean. My job took just over 2 weeks and they added a bathroom and laundry room which I love.
I couldn’t be happier.

Professional service and operations from start to end. We reached out to the team based on HomeStars ratings. Joe showed up quickly, did measurements and sent professionally done quote, on a company letterhead, same day! Igor came next and put tape on floor to outline walls etc. His advises and humor are precious. Covid lockdown was respected and we had to delay the start a bit for that. Once started - it was progressing very fast, first day we had 6-8 people working on framing, and everybody knew their part of the job. Yura was leading most of the activities (except plumbing/electrical), efficiency was a common theme all along the project. Sometimes during the project we visited show room where Natalie walked us through a large selection of vanities, showers, laminate, colors, etc. Her help is a great factor to get things selected properly.
Basically we did not have to do anything other than opening doors for team when they arrived, and provide payments of course :) Delivery of required materials were handled by the office and never delayed or not enough, I guess partly due to fact they have big warehouse where they stock required materials.

Finished in about 2.5weeks, within 1k of the original quote (some ductwork and plumbing mods were extra). Overall very happy. I guess one can find cheaper option, or better fine details, but I bet it will be hard to match price/quality/speed/people combination. Highly recommend!

This is an extremely professional company that did a beautiful job of our basement. We interviewed 4 companies, signed with one and had to cancel due to some questionable practices. When we met Andriy we felt comfortable right away, he was upfront and very responsive to questions. Our positive experience continued when we met Igor and he showed us the best use of our space as he taped out rooms in the basement. Natalie was fantastic at guiding us in the showroom with design choices. The crew on site were so professional and respectful of COVID guidelines. The job got finished in the time expected and I never had to ask were the crew was on any given day as they were here doing what they do best!! There were no hidden fees or costs, completely upfront. Most importantly our basement turned out beautifully, we are enjoying family time in our space. Thanks so much Finished Basements!!!

Used them for the second time for my new home could not be more happier during these difficult times.As promised 1300 sqft basement finished in 14 days...i would highly recommend Igor and his crew smooth process they deliver what they promise

Recently finished job by the team at Finished Basements of about 1200 sq ft. The team starting with Andrei at the initial consultation were fantastic. The ability to do "One stop shopping" was a huge bonus since we were not available on site. Natalie guided us through the whole process and had great insight and tips on what matched, availability of goods and how to save us some $$ here and there. The build team was great, very professional, fast, clean and very polite. There were some patch-ups to be made and they showed up after hours to do minor fixes. In the end Igor walked us through the whole process and we were both happy on how it turned out. The time frame for us was about 4 weeks with delays because of COVID-19 and coordinating with other job sites. Certainly would go with this group again for our next basement renovation if we have one!
