We had an old chimney that had been capped off by the previous owners. The mortar and bricks were eroded to the point of allowing water in and damaging the walls inside the house.
Turnbull Masonry responded quickly and they were able to do the job within a few days. They would have tarped the chimney to keep the rain out if their schedule didn't allow them to get to the job before the weather turned.
Ellen took my phonecall, asked me to email the photos I had taken of the chimney, and then told me Clinton would phone within a couple of hours. Clinton did call within two hours and had the solution, tear down the chimney and roof over. The quote was emailed to me the next day.
Clinton and Aaron arrived on time, and set to work, demolishing the chimney, reinforcing the joists, installing plywood, ice shield membrane, and then shingles. After they cleaned up you wouldn't have known they'd been there.
Our leaky chimney is a distant memory, the shingle match is perfect, it's as if the chimney never existed.
The whole experience has been great, Turnbull Masonry has been so professional and have such a wonderful team, I highly recommend them.
