If you're looking for a beautiful, custom-made fence and gate - I highly recommend Art Metal. The only slight problem was the length of time it took (10 weeks) but we understand that we had a small job and they were very busy this summer. The company was a pleasure to deal with and we LOVE our new fence!

Art Metal Workshop Inc. was amazing. A guy showed up when he said he would, gave a quote, very reasonable compared to the other 2 quotes and 1 month later, came to install my railings. They look beautiful. very happy.

I found Art Metal Workshop on the web with a huge variety of railings. I called for a quote and they came the next day. When the quote was delivered Alex informed me that what I had chosen was not a standard railing and he could offer me a "less expensive" alternative. I didn't take him up on the offer but I appreciated his honesty! The delivery and install was completed as promised! It is truly a piece of art!

Art Metal is a family owned business. Friendly people, really went the extra mile to help. Worked with me on choosing the rails I wanted. Worked with Alex, who was really a super great guy. Told me when they will be coming up front, explained all the steps. Owner came to do the measurenents, another team came to frame out the railing, and another team came to do the install. I was a bit nervous since as I didn't know if the final team knew my details, but I just reviewed with them one more time before they started and they were very accommodating. They even cemented up some of the holes from my old wooden railing! My house looks like it's worth the most on the street now!
Great product and really friendly! If I do anything metal, will definitely use again!

PS. Use Galvanized and save yourself the trouble of rust!

How can I not give Art Metal 10/10? They were responsive, offered countless choices, delivered on-time and on budget. The quality of the railing and installation was exactly as promised

We chose Art Metal because they were highly rated by Homestars customers.
My wife and I were looking for outside railings for our new porch and stairs that were out of the ordinary (not just vertical bars). The Art Metal website has at least a hundred choices...and we soon decided upon a design with a non-traditional artistic flair.
Expect to wait 6 to 8 weeks for delivery and installation.
To be honest, the high cost was shocking, but we understand that the railing design we chose was very labour intensive.
We've had a lot of positive comments from the neighbours.
The only suggestion I have is that drop sheets should be used when applying touch-up paint upon installation.

If you are looking for quality custom steel work, look no further. Alex is as good as it gets! He is knowledgeable and highly skilled, professional and has a high level of integrity and honesty. The pricing is fair, the quality superb, what more can you ask for??? Oh yes, made in the Canada! The gate was installed yesterday and my clients are thrilled. The neighbors love it as well. The gate is heavy steel, which was then galvanized and powder coated to coordinate with the new light fixtures. The key plate even has a decorative scalloped edge. I highly recommend Alex and his family owned Art Metal, you won't be disappointed.
