Logik Roofing & Insulation

My attic had the original insulation from the 80s and I was noticing the house was quite cool. I have been putting off topping up the insulation as I really don't like contractors in the house these days but I wanted to get the insulation brought up to today's standards.

As usual when I need a contractor I checked HOMESTARS. Logik Roofing and Insulation was the highest rated firm. I was going to start with Logik to be the first of my 3 quotes.

I contacted Danielle who was extremely efficient and pleasant to schedule an appointment. During these discussions Danielle advised me of a Government rebate that was often about $600 but varied in amount depending on the quantity of insulation applied. We scheduled an appointment a couple of days later.

The estimator, Mike, was exactly on time. I explained to Mike that we had just painted the house and didn't want any damage to the walls etc. I cannot explain what a pleasure it was to deal with Mike. He not only left his mask on the entire time he was in my home but was also was very knowledgeable, professional, courteous and polite, plus he was extremely careful to not do any damage. He explained the work to be done
including upgrading the attic ventilation. Mike went to his truck and gave me his estimate; it was exactly as I had hoped. Mike also advised me that Danielle would review the government grants with me when I called her.

After dealing with Mike, and being happy with the price, I had a great deal of confidence in Logik and decided to proceed without getting any additional prices.

Danielle explained the Government rebate would be $600 and gave me a someone to contact to make the arrangements. After investigating the rebate program I called Danielle to book the work and get an installation date. I reiterated to Danielle that I wanted the installers to be careful and that I wanted all of the installers to be masked and
vaccinated; and I was assured this was not a problem.

The installers Tanner, Gus and Cory arrived right on time and from the onset were extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They took extreme care to not damage anything and planned the install such that the front door would be open a minimal amount of time since it was quite cold out. They put drop cloths everywhere and did a great job cleaning up before they left. They showed me the current level of insulation in place as well as after the Baffles and ventilation improvements were made and finally when the work was completed. There was over 16 inches of insulation blown in and everything was spread evenly. To say I was impressed is an
understatement and believe me I am very difficult to please.
One more thing that impressed me
me was the Logik agreement which is simple and not filled with 2 pages of fine print terms and conditions.

As you can see I am delighted with the insulation work provided by Logik. The Logik team is as fine a contractor's team that I have dealt with. I highly recommend Logik for your insulation requirements.

Great company. Top notch work. I recently had Logik upgrade attic insulation and new insulation for the entire basement. The Logik team was on time, wore masks, friendly, courteous, careful to protect floors and windows They are very efficient and organized. Vacuumed up before leaving. I highly recommend their services. As much as 30% spent on heating and cooling is lost through inadequate insulation levels. I will now be saving on heating and cooling costs every year.

We were very impressed with the team from Logik! Even when they were down a team member due to an emergency, they worked extra hard to ensure the job was done thoroughly and they did not miss a beat. Even though I told them not to worry about clean up (I can imagine how tired they were late into the evening), they insisted and left our home spotless.

Contracted through the Home Inspectors Group Inc. under the Enbridge Home Winter Proofing Program following a very thorough Energy Audit. Crew arrived as scheduled, were efficient and polite. I was told my roof was now insulated to R60 (blow-in) with seal and dam around attic access. Two sections of exposed basement wall were batt-insulated to R20. Excellent clean-up. Took about 1.5-2 hr.

Mike, Tanner and Doug are an amazing team! Great guys to have in our home and where extremely professional. Great workmanship and efficient. Insulated our crawl space, attic and furnace room walls plus chalking around all our windows. Left the house cleaner than they found it! IMPRESSIVE.

It's quite clear the difference between a contractor who really cares about their work and one who doesn't. When Mark came by for the quote it was immediately clear that he was one who cared.

We have a low pitch roof, without a lot of space. To make sure he got a great understanding of my attic, Mark was the only contractor who came by to actually climb up into the attic and drag himself around in the tiny space. Of course he came out covered in fibreglass, but even during the quote he was adamant about cleaning up around him, which was amazing to see, and a great sign of the level service to come. That's what sold us to go with Mark.

On the day of the project, his team showed up on time, worked efficiently while communicating us about progress and anything that came up. His team even brought blankets and cardboard shields to make sure their pipes didn't dirty the floors and walls. Just like during the estimate, his team made sure to clean up well after the job. We would highly recommend Mark and his team to others.

The crew showed up and introduced themselves. They protected our floors, window sill and door frames. They were neat, tidy and polite.
They wore masks as per Covid protocal . They completed there work and asked me to take a look. The cleaned up and packed up and were apologizing for getting some mud on our driveway.
Will definitely refer this company out to any of my friends or neighbors.

Very professional.....Mark's team works very well together.....5 of them came to top up the insulation in my attic and also installed an exhaust vent for the bathroom. I'm impressed, and Mark is so approachable....even took pictures of the roof vents for me after the work is done. I would definitely recommend Logik to anyone who needs roof work done.
