M&R Roofing

From the start M&R roofing were incredibly impressive. They came to the house and did the roof inspection and we did not need to be home. They took photos during the inspection and emailed them with notes on them, along with a detailed quote. The price they quoted was very fair and competitive with others that we had quotes from. They set up a Box account and had all files there for us to access. They completed the job in the time specified. The job entailed removing three layers of shingles and replacing them. They cleaned up all of the mess afterwards and did a fantastic job of that. They took a lot of care with the work. I would have no problem recommending them to anybody.

Visited M&R office on Bering Ave. and found it very clean and well organized. Their work on the roof was similar. Their estimate was the lowest of three for the same work. The final price was as estimated, the work was done on schedule and clean up was spotless. The owner was friendly and knowledgeable and complied with all my requests. The workers were friendly to associate with. Would recommend highly.

I've had to deal with many roofing companies over my adult life. Not all are honest and reliable. M&R Roofing was professional from the outset, offering a very fair price (and sticking to it!), showing up on time and getting the job done on schedule.

One of the things I appreciated most about M&R roofing, was their communication. They responded quickly to our questions and kept us in the loop with scheduling. I especially liked their electronic schedule system which automatically populated meetings and start dates in my calendar.

Having searched for a variety of roofing companies in the Toronto area and received unsatisfactory responses from several (including other highly rated ones), M&R were responsive and communicative. They were professional in their approach and timely in their responses. When a detail was overlooked (removing our unused chimney) they fixed it immediately.

From Mark's prompt and detailed quote through to Marcin's assurance of job satisfaction, M&R impressed us. Their price was extremely competitive. Work was speedily scheduled in, as promised. And the crew replaced our entire roof, dormer included, in one day. When we noticed a few shingles bowing out on a ridge cap and the dormer face, Marcin immediately dispatched crew members to adhere and seal them. Neighbours were impressed with the crew's efficiency and thorough clean up. The whole experience was smooth and we've already referred Marcin & Co to friends and neighbours.

Replaced flashing on parapet walls and over a window that had been poorly installed by others earlier. Also sanded and repainted rusty solar tube curbs. Professional, knowledgeable, tidy, warm, friendly, prompt.

M and R were recommended by our neighbours who had their shingles done 2 years ago and were completely satisfied. We too were completely satisfied and then recommended them to other neighbours.

M&R replaced the shingles on our house with a new asphalt roof. They did an excellent job!

The evaluation and explanation of alternatives, the quote, and the patience in answering numerous questions before the work commenced was all done flawlessly.

On the scheduled day the crew came on time, worked hard, were polite, covered up the ground around the house and windows, and cleaned up at the end of each day. During the installation they answered all my questions.

I especially appreciated that the quotes and all written material were provided via e-mail, and that phone calls were answered promptly.

I would highly recommend M&R to do a residential roof. They are professional roofers!

M&R Roofing were very easy to deal with. They were quick with giving us a quote and did the work pretty quickly as well. We were very happy with the crew and their attention to detail and quality of work. They even spotted deficiencies on our existing roof and repaired them before building the deck. We love our new deck!
