I've had an unpleasant duct cleaning experience some time ago…

When I just moved into my new house and was in rush to clean a new place, I responded to some promotion and agreed to a "complete duct cleaning service" for only $98 for my house of 1800 sq ft. On the phone everything sounded very attractive, although in reality it was somewhat different. The technician worked for 30-40 min with a simple vacuum cleaner and said that everything was cleaned. Than he suggested that I may also want to clean the blower of my furnace and the AC coil which is supposedly very important. He also offered to do an additional disinfection of the air ducts, another vital process, but all that for additional cost. This way the additional cost racked up to another $120! I refused. I paid him $98 for what he has done but as I discovered later, I didn’t get a right service.
I would strongly recommend against the low price cleaning packages that are sometimes offered – it's just a hook for an uneducated customer like I used to be.

And now about a good experience…

With my dog shedding like crazy in spring & summer time I have to do the duct cleaning on the regular basis, that's why I've done my research on the service provider more accurately next time. Pricing was clearly indicated based on the package and the sq.footage. None of the duct cleaning service websites I visited before had the service information that clear and easy to follow. I made an appointment online (which gave me some discount on already very reasonable price) and I was very happy with the timely service I received. The whole work took the technician about 2 hours. I was very pleased that they made exactly what they promised.

I would highly recommend the Duct Cleaning Centre for the job. The whole process was well defined and strictly followed. Web information was clear, booking and confirmation were no-hussle, team was professional, polite and very tidy. At the end, I had full confidence that the job have been done very well and that I've made the right choice.
