After purchasing a bungalow I have planned adding a legal basement suite. It has been a lot of work, but when I was ready to tackle a good share of the work Rocco was there every step of the way. From our original meeting, he had a high level of confidence about the work that needed to be done and eased some of my own worries. he was very professional and knowledgeable .Overall it was a great experience working with Architalcan Design. It was a pleasure dealing with The Architalcan Design, Inc. We have a relatively new home but were not happy with much of the main floor. Rocco the project manager helped us come up with a plan to upgrade our Living Room / Dining room area, main floor powder room and our study for a very reasonable price. Most importantly for us living in the house - they were very timely and clean. I would highly recommend using them.

I went to Rocco for a condo renovation project two years ago and was incredibly happy with the results. Rocco was very quick and thorough is providing us with the drawings for our renovation. Even when abroad, he responded quickly to answer any questions we might have. Rocco was recommended by my friend who used him on multiple projects. For my house project it requires all most main floor walls removed and Rocco did a great job from first site visit all the way to get us permit, we highly recommend him for anyone starting a major renovation project.

We have lived in our house for 15 years but didn’t want to move. Our plan was to open the main floor and add a third story with a roof deck. From the very beginning, Rocco took care of everything. From developing the idea, to drawing the plans, to obtaining the permits, to making the structural renovations. He was always available at anytime to answer questions or address concerns. He kept a careful eye over the various trades people to ensure things were completed. Even though there were numerous issues and headaches due to COVID and supply chain issues, he found solutions and took care of everything. He was always saying “don’t worry, I will take care of you”, and he did just that. We are so happy with our new house and like everyone says, reno’s are hell, but we made it though thanks to Rocco’s dedication, attention to detail, and his passion for his work.

He did my basement lowering job. The under pinning. He was fair priced but quality was high. He did a great job managing the project too and argued with contractor for me. He also parked his car on my grass. But a good guy.
