Thought we would have to replace a rugged old window because the spiral hardware system was broken. Lakeshore Home Maintenance was able to find the hardware and install it to save us the cost of a new window.

Several of our window cranks (the arm which opens & closes the windows) were inoperative, and we had one large window which had come right off its track & hinges virtually having it fall completely out if opened!! Otherwise, we have very good, high quality windows...
We had been told by many "professionals" that the ONLY fix was to replace the windows!!... We were, therefore, looking at a +/-$3,000 bill!! Until we Googled "window repairs" & found Lakeshore Home Maintenance... We told Sarah the problem, she gave us an estimate over the phone & an hour later was at our home with Keith (partner & husband) fixing our windows... They were GREAT -Service was fantastic, they were professional & just REALLY nice people, AND here's the icing on the cake, as it turned out the problems I described on the phone to Sarah were not as bad in reality ie it didn't take as much to repair the problems - something I wouldn't have known one way or the other except that when it came time to pay the cost was far less than what the over the phone estimate was - ALL that to say, Sarah & Keith are very honest & bring their integrity to the job - It doesn't get a whole lot better than that!!... We are now asking them to quote on other home maintenance for us!!... I HIGHLY recommend Lakeshore Home Maintenance!!

I was working out of town, my neighbour called me to advise a section of our fence had blown over. The posts had rotted after several years. Lakeshore issued a quote by email, arrived on schedule, emailed me pictures of the completed work that day. 1 year later, that fence is rock solid. They did what they said - on time and with excellent results.

Don't waste your money. You are basically hiring a middleman who just turns around and hires someone else to do the work and takes a cut for their trouble. Took two months to finally get a repairman to our house. A major component of the job was taken off the table as we could not locate replacement kitchen tiles and we were shocked to get the final bill and find it was only $18 lower than the initial estimate.

We needed some roof flashing repaired and don't have a ladder tall enough to reach it. And, we were not comfortable heading up to the roof to do it! One call to Sarah at Lakeshore and she had their roofer come and do the job within days. Problem solved.

After over 6 months of recaulking my showers stall and having it come right off again I decided to call in Lakeshore Home Maintenance. I told them my story of visiting every hardware store in the city and of all the online help and recommendations I followed. I recieved a quote and after tremendous effort on their part they removed my attemped caulking, and grouting and recaulked. Not only did they honour the quote, even after the work to clean up my mess, they told me where I went wrong. They were polite, personable and knowledgable. I would and do highly recomend this company.
