Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Edmonton

Last week I had a tech come look at my slow-draining kitchen sinks and wet bar sink. He did a cleaning of the lines and told me everything was draining well. I took his word for it but figured that night I would test them anyway (only a few hours after he left). One kitchen sink and bar sink drained in seconds. However, my other kitchen sink took over 10 minutes to fully drain.

***Edit: Spoke to the office to discuss this job. Apparently a communication issue resulted in the tech understanding I didnt need the basement kitchen sink branch cleaned out and therefore it didnt get done.

We hired Mr. Rooter for $450 to scope the sewer line and provide recommendations for a root problem. I did appreciate the technician including me in the scoping and explaining what he was seeing and I did receive a copy of the video. They recommended a sewer lining and quoted us more than $12K and said they would deduct the cost of the scoping if we went with them.
Decided to shop around and we were immediately able to find another company to come in, scope the line (at no cost) clear the existing roots to prevent further backup in the two weeks before they could do the job AND do the job for a total of $6K. Does pay to shop around.

The service I received from Mr. Rooter and Ryan was accommodating and professional. Ryan was very courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. He was more than willing to address other plumbing concerns, and to provide options and estimates. He was careful to explain the steps he would take to make the repair, and to answer questions. Ryan demonstrated enthusiasm for his work, and a commitment to completing the task with excellence. He provided for maintenance, and he was very careful to tidy the work area.

Ryan came in and was professional and very respectful of our house and ourselves. He got right to work and within the hour our issue was fixed. Can't sing his praises loud enough. Highly recommend Mr. Rooter!!!!!!

Ty will continue to be called to our home when we need a plumber because he knows exactly what he is doing and confidently does it very well. He is also a good communicator/listener and goes the extra mile with additional information. His advice about our pending shower stall installation was very important to know. Ty is competent and freely shares his knowledge with his customers, we were fortunate to meet him through Mr. Rooter!

Main plugged at 10pm. Left message. Return call at 730am. Unplugged at 9am. Pressure hosed roots at 10 am with second truck. Camera on all work showed roots at every 4 feet and fully clean after. They did the job fast and well and provided verbal estimate for fiberglass cured lining. 18k with weeping gate and back flow installed. Very efficient.

For years, I had clogging issues with my kitchen sink. Now, thanks to Mr Rooter technician I have properly functional sink. He also fixed my bathroom shower that was stack on the same temperature. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. I had several options proposed, and I went with most expensive because I wanted permanent solutions to my problems. I dont regret it. The service that was provided worth every penny. I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this company. Im very happy with results.

Annoying drip resulted with new taps.
I miss the good old days when a leaking tap was fixed by a $0.50 washer.
The work and the worker were good.
