I have an old house that I suspect had many "handyman special" renovations before I bought it. I called Valentin when water from my washer kept backing up into the basement shower stall. Because of the way the pipes where originally laid, the job was not straight-forward but Valentin kept me well informed, of what he was doing and why. When it became apparent that a complete and proper repair would be a bigger job than I could take on at this time, He showed what I could do to get around the problem until I can afford to fix it .
Thoughout the process Valentin was polite, infomative and patient with my questions. I will be calling him for any future plumbing needs.

I contacted other plumbers some were over priced and others didn't even return my phone call. I had a running toilet. I called Val from STRONG PLUMBING he answered right away and he was at my house in less than an hour to fix the problem. He's extremely friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. My partner and I contacted several plumbers including Strong Plumbing to get a quote on replacing the toilet in our basement powder room. The toilet was in bad shape so replacement vs. repair was required. Valentine of Strong Plumbing was one of the few plumbers contacted who actually responded to our request for quote. Valentine was extremely helpful and answered all or our questions.

We purchased our own toilet for the installation.

Valentine arrived on time to do the work. He worked quickly and efficiently. The replacement was done in about an hour and the room was left as spotless as it started out.

I called Valentin as our only working toilet was clogged up. Valentin arrived within 1 hour. He was very pleasant and professional. Valentin was able to quickly diagnose the problem and explain the cause of the clogging as toilet is very old (show me the date 1989) the diameter of the trap is getting smaller (caused through years of usage) my toilet will continue to clog, solution is replacement of toilet. For now, he cleared the clog.

Valentin educated me a bit on replacing my toilet; I will need to know the distance between the stack and wall when going to purchase a new toilet (not all toilets will fit the 10.75 inches I have in my bathroom).

We have another toilet in our basement, which was leaking, so we turned off the water, haven’t used this toilet in years. While Valentin was here, he had a look at the basement toilet, determined where the leak was coming from, and replaced the pipe. Then installed new shutoff and tested a few times. Now we are able to use this toilet.

We are very happy and pleased with the service Valentin provided. He also went out of his away to give an estimate to include getting the new toilet and installing (as we don’t have a car).

I would recommend Valentin to others, as well as use his company again when needed.

i called valentin when i discovered water which turned out to be sewage in my basement which continued to back up in my basement every time i flushed the toilet or showered. he came ASAP and assessed the situation. he was very pleasant and professional. and he had a crew out the next day to remove to blocked pipe and install a new one, 11 feet under ground. the workers where quick, proficient, and completely cleaned up after the job was complete. i will definitely call him again for my plumbing issues and would recommend him to anyone looking for a great plumber.

Valentin did a truly great job. He was on time and quick to find the problem with the leaky pipe. He went out and purchased the pump and came back and installed it without any problems. In addition, he also graciously fixed another pipe that was in sub-optimal condition. He was very thorough and knowledgeable. I initially contacted a few plumbers and Valentin was the only one that emailed me back so I knew he was serious and professional from the start. Within a day or so he was in my basement fixing the disgusting problem of a blocked main drain. Sewage was backing up into our basement shower as well as the drain in the laundry room. Valentin respectfully explained the problem to me in such a way that I could understand (I know nothing about plumbing) and told me it was a somewhat common problem in old Toronto houses. He worked hard to unclog the drain successfully in less than an hour, and saved me the considerable expense of excavating my front yard to replace the pipe (at least for now!). And he did it all with a smile on his face. I will absolutely be calling him back should we ever need plumbing services again, and will recommend him to friends. Thanks Valentin!
