Dear Customer, we were very sorry for arriving late at the pick-up. We are always punctual for morning arrivals and allow for 1 to 2-hour window for arrival in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the morning of Mar 3rd was full of surprises because of which the crew was delayed. We did notify you promptly of the delays, although the ETA changed 2 or 3 times. I myself, as the customer service manager, had called you shortly before movers arrival to personally and sincerely apologies for the mishap with the arrival and notify you of the final and correct time of arrival. I sincerely appreciated your understanding and positive mood.
Regarding the entertainment center, I believe that you are misleading other homeowners in stating that our movers "refused" to move the entertainment center. In actual fact, and to the contrary, movers attempted handling the center through the low ceiling door way entrance of your basement, but the entertainment center did not fit - it was higher than the height of the ceiling. Movers provided you the measurements in front of you and you acknowledged. Had they proceeded by forcing the item down the steep staircase into the low-ceiling basement, damages to walls, ceiling and stairs would have occurred. This was not acceptable and you decided to leave the item on ground floor level.
In our email correspondence, you admitted that movers did a great job in only 3.5 hours and that movers were efficient. I sadly find your review unfair because you discredit our moving services based on an item which could not have been handled safely down the steep staircase and low-ceiling basement without producing damages.
