Would highly recommend this company! Trustworthy! Stucco 2 story home- on 3 sides complete with matching trim, entry pillars, house letters sign and installed new side door. William and his team were professional, timely, organized, honest and neat. No surprises, thrilled with the outcome. Done in 3 weeks.

We met with David and William from Exterior By Design Stucco And Stone Inc. in late July to get a quote on redoing the stucco on the exterior of our house. We were impressed by the knowledge they processed and the advice they offered. At that time we already had multiple quotes on the stucco work, as well as quotes on replacing the windows in our house. Upon learning that Exterior By Design also did windows, and that David actually started out doing windows, we invited them to return to quote on ours.
After comparing the various quotes and studied the companies, we decided to go with Exterior By Design on both windows and Stucco work. They were not the cheapest for sure, however their prices were reasonable considering the quality of materials and warranty they offered.
The windows installation started in the first week of November 2020. It took 3 days. It was quite dusty as it was a wall-to-wall installation. At the end of the job the installers took away the debris and did a fairly good job cleaning up. We are happy with the new windows. They modernize our house. On David and William’s recommendation we changed the kitchen window that overlook our backyard and a creek to an awning window. Wow, what a difference it made!
Just a few days after the windows installation they were able to start the exterior stucco work around our house. They completely removed the old stucco and rebuilt anew with insulations. The main stucco panel sat on top of the garage, William suggested that we split the existing garage light into two which we agreed. He coordinated to have their electrician Alex to do the job. Alex was knowledgeable and very well mannered. The stucco installer Arthur started his day early and worked hard. He was knowledgeable of his work, and friendly. The job took about 2 weeks. Arthur also did a good job clean up the site. Our neighbours have complimented us on the new look of our house.

I was very happy to find these guys! Both David and William are amazing, very professional and responsive. All the guys that work for them are very qualified. They did not ask for a large deposit like many other contractors do (up to 50%), which was a sign for us they are all about quality and are confident in the results they deliver. In the end, I wish I had found them earlier and hired them to do the backyard as well.
But our front yard looks amazing now, all neighbours are in wow. Stucco is absolutely stunning and the new porch is so cozy and stylish! Special thanks for the custom made number and street name sign which was a gift. It looks great and matches the style! Thank you very much guys!

We were recommended by Durock to Exterior Design and the best decision we have made. It was done in the time quoted and able to work in different weather conditions. Their crew was very professional , communicated well and very respectful in keeping the area clean and orderly. We finally feel confident that we had quality workmanship completed using quality Durock materials at a fair price. This is our 4th attempt at repairing the stucco but confident it will not be required again for many years to come.

Sean is very good and very particular. He and his team are very professional. They are friendly and always kept the place clean after work.

We wanted to replace our house front wooden envelop and windows as it was old and rotting. We were looking at various options such as wood, sidings and stucco. We hired Stucco by Design. They were very flexible with our design ideas and both stucco and windows work was done very professionally without any major issues. Especially the stucco installer listened to our ideas and consulted with us for any changes.

David and William were both excellent. They explained everything They gave us a lot of information, ideas and guidance. The workmanship was above excellent. We worked with William to replace all the 90-year old lathe and plaster on the exterior of our home. They tore out all the old exterior, fully insulated the previously uninsulated walls, and applied a beautiful stucco. The guys doing the work (Walter and his brother) were _incredible_. They worked so hard, and were incredibly fastidious.

William and Walter worked with us to decide on the exact plan for what we wanted to do, and executed on it perfectly.

We decided on a fairly bold blue, and we love how it turned out.

The job was not inexpensive, but we definitely got our money’s worth in terms of quality and how quickly they did the work. Highly recommended!
