I've been living in the parkdale neighborhood for nearly a year now and in early february 2011 I needed to get my dress shirts cleaned for work. I've had bad experiences in the past with dry cleaners damaging expensive shirts of mine. So, I walked up the street to this dry cleaners and the woman behind the counter pursuaded me to get my shirts dry cleaned instead of laudered. I knew dry cleaning them would more than likely shrink them but she insisted that this will get them clean like they are brand new. Told me that it will take two days to get them clean and she'll call me if there are any problems. I told her I wasn't in a rush because I have other dress shirts and if it's not ready then to call me. I eventually came back 3 days later and received half of my order. I asked what happended to my other shirts. The woman told me that they had to be sent out for extra cleaning. I said well the shirts weren't that dirty how much cleaning is needed? To make a long story short. I came back in another 3 days and 2 of my shirts were ruined. I asked what happened to my shirt and the woman said it was already like that. I said this was a new shirt and the blue color was bleeded all over with lots of ink spots. My two shirts were ruined and I was not happy about this. Not only did they blame the damage on me but also the customers service skills were an absolute 0.
I would not recommend this dry cleaner to anyone. What happened to customer service and honesty Canada. Avoid this company like the black plague!
