Verdun Windows And Doors

Replaced all the windows in my home, plus a patio door and front doors, and had a fantastic experience with Verdun.  A pretty big job, a total of 5 full days of labour for the initial installations.

For me, the true test of a company is how they deal with unexpected issues/problems, and Verdun came out with flying colours.  Overall, the installation went very smoothly.  There were a few minor and unexpected issues along the way (which is to be expected for a large job like this), but Verdun staff were always flexible and provided excellent service throughout the process.  The installers (Rami and his crew) were proficient and professional, and were accommodating when I asked for minor changes during the installation (e.g.  I didnt like the style of bullnose trim they had started installing, so I proposed a design tweak and they incorporated my request without any issues).  The head office staff were also excellent at communicating regular updates on parts ordered (e.g.  to replace a small PVC component that was damaged during installation/transport) or for follow-up visits (e.g. to adjust a pane that the installers had noted didnt fit perfectly well or to touch up some of the exterior caulking where some insulating foam had eventually expanded too much and popped out through the caulk).  I use these examples not as criticism or complaints like I said, a few small issues on such a big job are to be expected but rather to highlight real examples of how Verdun successfully handled these issues and the efforts they went to to ensure things were done properly and to my satisfaction.

Overall, I was very happy with Verdun and would strongly recommend to others.

We took advantage of the government grant and 0% interest loan to get our new windows. The experience was hoid and the installers were friendly.

The Verdun team was super accommodating and professional in every step of the process! The quote was quick and fair and the installation was efficient and they cleaned up as best they could afterwards as well. Super happy with windows as well! Simple, modern design and definitely keeping my house warmer! All around very happy with my Verdun experience.

We also liked the process Verdun has in place that lets the customer know every step of the installation job.
Due to timing, our windows were replaced in January, but aside from moving some snow from around windows, winter window replacement was no problem.
Everyone we dealt with, from the salesman to the installation contractors, were dedicated to doing a good job and making sure we were happy.
All issues (there will always be issues on big jobs) were dealt with to our satisfaction, and our lead contractor Richard even redid some work that was not to his own satisfaction we were very impressed.
If you need window work done, you would be hard pressed to find a better company than Verdun.

Can only review sales appointment, salesman and contract signing at this time. Actual work is 20-22 weeks away so cannot review company now. We had our whole house done by a company 25 years ago that Verdun has since purchased. That work was excellent and the windows are still in great shape.
To review this new work, the setup of an appointment was easy and the time from first contact to actual appointment was less that 5 days! The salesperson was right on time, spent a considerable amount of time looking at our requirement and selecting/explaining what Verdun had to offer, was courteous and certainly came prepared. The quote was delivered while on-site and it was in the same ballpark as quotes from 3 other companies so we felt satisfied that Verdun remained "In The Running".
Over the next week we contacted the salesperson by phone and email looking for clarification on some points and asking for more information on multiple aspects of the purchase. In all cases this person answered quickly and accurately even when the call was late evening, weekends and even during a stat holiday.
We could NOT have asked for better support through the process of getting our selections made and the contract signed and issued to the company.
We look forward to the next phases of our little project without concern that the products will be "as advertised" and the work (manufacture and installation) will be of the best quality based on the performance of this very capable sales person.
