After getting a few estimates from different companies, went with Verdun - they were way more economical and the R-rating on their windows was superior! Michel, the estimator was quick, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. The installers did a great job. All-in-all, I was very happy with the experience. I would recommend them to anyone. I can't see how anyone can compete with them, given that they manufacture, distribute and install - all-in-one shop. In Ottawa, it's even better, as they manufacture the windows right in Vars.

We decided to replace our old bay window with a new one this spring. Colin, Verdun’s sale representative was great at answering our questions and providing an immediate quote. He even came back to double check measurements and to ensure all details were reviewed before our installation. This was important as we purchased in the fall for a spring start. I was also impressed that the installers asked questions to confirm details and went further in adding to the design element of the vinyl siding and aluminum trim finish to complete the front side of the house. My only issue was the inside finish of the bottom of the window. It is made of quarter inch good one-side plywood. Which I thought was a poor choice of finish as the edge is prone to slivering. I realize that as the home owner, I can completely finish it however I choose to match my interior, but I didn’t realize that was how it would be finished on installation. In the end, the front of our house looks great and I would definitely call them back to finish the rest of the windows.

I have purchased a home which was built in 1988. The windows were original and needed to be replaced. I have had work done on a previous home with Verdun Doors & Windows, and was extremely pleased with their service. It was a pleasure to work with Michel Malette once again for my new home purchase. Michel is a terrific sales person who takes the time to explain in detail the best solutions for the selection of the new windows for my home, taking into consideration my taste, the overall look, and my budget. On installation date, there was a mix-up on the size of one window, but because Verdun Doors & Windows build their own windows, a new window was construction and shipped to my house within 2 hours. The job was completed within 5 hours!!!!! Including installing the replacement window shipped directly from their production plant. A total of 11 windows were installed in less than a day!!!!!!!
Once the installation crew left, the was no sign of them even being present on site, they removed all the old windows and took them away. They cleaned up after themselves, it was a if they had never been there. The only thing they left behind were my beautiful new windows!!!!

Found the service rep to be thorough. We had choices that were pointed out to us. Measurements were carefully taken and once installation was done everything fit perfectly.

All the windows and patio glass door were changed during a snow storm in 2010. But this did not bother the workmen. They did wha they had to do. Although there were adjustments made days after, these were all corrected. Mess were cleaned up the way we like it.
Today they were back for a new front door, What an excellent choice we made. The full glass sandblasted finish was stunning! What a diffence.
Again, Verdun men did a clean job. Both jobs were done perfectly! Thanks!

Approximately 5 years ago, we used Verdun to replace half the windows in my home, including the patio door. Recently, our patio screen would not open due to damage from the snow. I requested Verdun's help and they promptly came to fix it the next day, and to my surprise for free! I would not hesitate to use their services again. I highly recommend them.

My wife and bought a house from the 40's and the basement windows were still the originals. The old windows had large wooden cases that blocked a large amount of light and were incredibly drafty.

We knew we needed to get the basement windows replaced first as they were the oldest and most troublesome. We chose Verdun after seeing their work in the neighbourhood and weren't disappointed. The windows we chose let in a substantial amount of light and look great. Colin was great during the initial assessment and window selection process. The installers arrived right on time, were friendly, knowledgable and quick. They were able to finish all three windows in 90 minutes. The office staff responsible for their slSocial Media account is great and fast to respond to questions.

We will definately be using Verdun when we replace the rest of the windows and doors. And will recommend to our friends as well!

Service was wonderful from start to finish. I worked with a sales rep to design and price our new door and window. I was a little disappointed that it took as long as it did to get the order completed, but the door had to be custom made and they are very busy. The installation was completed a little bit earlier than they had thought and the work was beautifully done. I don't even have to do any painting!

My Wife and I just had our large Bow Window replaced. After due diligence on our part to obtain several quotes, Verdun had the most to offer at the best price. Our main decision was based on the fact that Verdun is an all inclusive company that manufactures and installs their own windows. Other companies may offer comparable warranties etc, but all would be dealing with a third party window manufacturer. We felt this gave Verdun the edge along with their “No Bull” warranty and competitive pricing and that decision would pay off for us sooner than we thought. My Wife and I ordered in October for a Feb install to gain advantage of a winter discount and were pleased when we were contacted two weeks ahead of the projected date we were provided. The crew showed up on time, on a balmy Feb day of 5 degrees and had the old window out and the new window back in that same morning. Unfortunately, as the crew was starting to put on the final touches, we noticed a mistake on the window configuration we had ordered and thus Verdun without hesitation ordered up the correct Casement windows we wanted and were back on site within two weeks to complete the job. I’m not sure that turn around would have happened with the other companies we obtained quotes from, but we were happy with the quick resolution. Mistakes happen and we were very pleased with the prompt and no hassle turnaround to satisfy our concerns. Colin, our sales rep was there for us at every step of the way. He answered my questions, came out to our home immediately to address my concerns and put my mind at ease.
At the end of the day, my wife and I couldn’t be happier. The window looks fantastic; the neighbors are already sending compliments our way, and it is time for us to move onto finding blinds to compliment the look.
