I found my entire experience with Amberwood to be excellent, and I would highly recommend them.

I was 100% satisfied with the quality of the door itself and the installation. Chris Black, our sales representative, and all of the staff we dealt with, were responsive, professional and helpful. They were honest about how long it would take to build, and it was finished and installed when they said it would be. After the installation a few corrections and some additional trim work was required, which were all taken care as promised within a week.

The door is beautiful and looks perfect on our heritage house.

I can honestly say I have never had a better home improvement experience with any company.

The Experience with Rick.F as a Design/Sales consultant for us could not have been a better match as a home owner. I have been a true admirer of Amberwood doors even before purchasing my ten year old home in Oshawa. One of my favorite client reviews was by none other than the famous Pat.F's home door which rick commissioned and helped design to add to the masterpiece of work carried out by Amberwood Doors to their clients. Every aspect of the Door from the intricate wrought iron work and the accessories were impeccable. This Door will be the centerpiece for all the following renovations to come in and out of the house. The Process from design to manufacturing is thoroughly controlled and inspected with the clients Approval and they send you detail sketches with measurement specification to present the most accurate representation of the final installation. The crew on the day of installation was a treat to work with according to my mother who was overseeing the work on that day, they were the most willing and patient team to explain the process and the operational functions of the door and even installed a new door bell with built in light feature. Walking into and out of the House has placed a smile on all of us and has set the precedence for the stone which we will be choosing for the outside transition and the landscape feature for the future.We have had countless requests of who commissioned the door for us and i have provided rick as the contact for their design dreams to become a reality.I am sure we will be changing all of the interior doors, side doors and the backyard/patio doors with Amberwood to continue the design elements and the continuity in general.A huge thank you to everyone at Amberwood door for their spectacular delivery on the product as promised and a special thanks to Rick for being and becoming a family friend. We first received the advertisement card on our door in the fall of 2015 and it was sitting on our kitchen table staring at us for 6 months. We had already visited numerous door companies that had okay prices, but none captivated us or gave us that this-is-the-one moment.

We were already into the second winter with our existing door system and were yearning to find a replacement door system because of several annoying features; including, air draft through the spacing of the door and crappy thin framing for the lock. As soon as the snow melted we decided to continue our research and take a gander with Amberwood Doors showroom.

It was almost an hour to closing – my wife and I were worried that we were going to be ushered out. With luck, the Sales Rep was finally free and available to help us after assisting another customer. He introduced himself as Rick and we started chatting about the current challenges we faced with our existing door system and what we were potentially looking for in a new door system. By the time we had finished chatting, it was well over an hour after closing but it felt like we were just chatting over coffee – in no way was Rick pressuring us to move quickly or usher us out; we lost complete track of time. Rick was so engaging that he worked out several iterations of design potentials, did not hesitate to explain all the particulars and specs of each door in the showroom, and also provided his design input for what could work with the front facing of our home. We knew the quality of the door system was winning on us, but Rick’s passion and attentiveness was the deal-sealer for us!

We are SOO happy with the new door system and are very grateful to the Amberwood Doors installation team for their professionalism and care of our home. Rick was engaged throughout the installation process and called us on a regular basis to keep us apprised on the progress.

We can't say enough about how happy we are with Amberwood Doors. We were referred by a friend who had an Amberwood Door that we loved! Our initial meeting with Chris was great as was the follow up meeting with Colin. Chris was so friendly and knew exactly what we were looking for. Every design he came back with was great and we finally signed off on the perfect one for our home. When the day came to install it, the installers were friendly, efficient and meticulous. The dream of owning an Amberwood door started when we received their advertisement postcard in the mail and it caught our eyes. Owning one quickly became a reality when we visited their showroom for the first time. Working with Chris, learning about their doors, understanding the process to create such quality craftsmanship and navigating the many options, convinced us that we were making the best choice. Chris was so passionate about the product that we thought he was the owner. We signed the contract right there and then without a design.
Two days later we met Colin (the owner), also very passionate and knowledgeable, and he suggested the custom design for our beautiful door and we have no regrets. It was a bit scary choosing the type of wood and stain from a small sample but all our fears disappeared immediately when we saw the finished door for the first time and we absolutely loved it!
A first class quality of service was shown from beginning to end by all at Amberwood Doors, from Chris in Sales and Colin the owner, to the installers who were also attentive to every detail of the installation, including removing the old door and frame intact, taping to achieve clean caulking and leaving a spotless work site.
There was a long wait time for the door but Amberwood delivered before the scheduled date.
We feel overly privileged to have something so exquisite welcoming us each day to our home, and are constantly complimented by family, friends and neighbours passing by. Thank to all at Amberwood Doors for that.

We met Amberwood doors back in 2008 and investigated the cost of their doors. At that time, they were more than we could afford. But the dream of owning one of their doors kept us interested until we finally were able to design and get it made in 2015.
Although the cost of our door was substantial, the experience was worth every penny. Our sales person, Rick, understood what we wanted and did everything in his power to make us feel good about the design. He went above and beyond our expectations to make sure the design and craftsmanship were to our specifications.
The staff that installed it were professional and the whole process from start to finish ended up being one of the most enjoyable renovations we've done. We absolutely love our door! It's worth every penny. We know it will last years, its solid and strong as well as beautiful.

After much research, we chose Amberwood Doors Inc to replace our front door and walk-out to our back garden. From the very beginning we knew we had made the right decision. Walking through the showroom and workroom with Chris Black (Sales Rep) truly sealed the deal for us. We couldn't believe the quality and true craftsmanship of the work in progress. We wanted it done immediately yet knew the labour involved would require great patience on our part.
We sat down with Chris in the showroom, looked at drawings and samples, and together came up with a design that we knew would enhance our home. By the time we left the showroom we had made a decision on 99% of everything including hardware. Our research prior to visiting the showroom helped to expedite things; we knew what we wanted and came prepared.
Installation date arrived, and we couldn't be happier.
Ray & his assistant did an extraordinary job removing our existing doors and installing the new doors. It was seamless and total perfection! The new beautiful front door and gorgeous French Doors from our back garden are well beyond our expectation! Best way to describe it..., they are like magnificent finely crafted furniture. Pieces we will treasure always!
