Back in 2014, I had my entire roof replaced (shingles, underlayment, plywood repair) by House and Hammer Roofing. In November of this year, a leak developed through the bathroom exhaust fan. I contacted House and Hammer and spoke to Paul. He sent Darrell out the next day to inspect. He had a good idea as to the cause of the leak but recommended tearing out all the shingles, underlayment, and vent in the suspect area and replace the plywood that showed signs of water staining. He came out the following day to perform the repair.
After 9 years since my roof was replaced, I expected that the life time warranty wouldnt be honoured in its entirety if at all. All too often I hear of companies that spin and skate around their warranty with excuses not to cover the repair.
Well, I was extremely surprised and pleased that House and Hammer Roofing stood behind their workmanship and product material and honoured the warranty in full, no prorating or extra charges of any kind. Both Paul and Darrell were extremely responsive and courteous throughout the entire repair process. I could not recommend this company enough! Ten stars plus in my opinion. A very honourable and ethical company. I will share my positive experience with neighbours and friends.
