I hired Crack Specialists when I had a vertical crack in an unfinished basement that was leaking water. After seeing several positive reviews for them online I decided to give them a try. They gave me a reasonable quote over the phone, came to fix the crack the same week, explained everything involved in the process and closed all the insulation and vapour barrier back up when they finished. I'm really happy with the completed work.

I hired Crack Specialists when I had a crack in my basement extending from the support beam to the footing. They were only working on the project for about 2.5 hours, worked within a very reasonable budget and did a really good job.

Todd was wonderful. He came to my house twice, the second time to look inside a wall by removing some drywall. In the end, he told me that my problem was not as bad as I thought it was and that I didn't really need his services. Amazing honesty. I gave him every opportunity to gouge me by asking so many followup questions. I had a leaking basement wall in 2006. Crack Specialists repaired it for me with a reasonable cost and a life-time transferrable warranty. Now seven years have passed and I have never had a wet basement. I am selling my home but I cannot find the invoice. Crack Specialists emailed me the invoice right after receiving my call for help. We had a flood in our basement end of March early April this year just as the snow was melting, it all ended up in our basement rec room, but we couldn't locate where the water was coming in from. We had friends recommend The Crack Specialist and since they gave free quotes and assessment, we tried them out. Not only was Todd able to figure out the root cause of the leak, but he gave us many options and price points to choose from on how to best resolve our issue. The team is extremely friendly, professional, and always on time for their appointments and Todd responded to all my questions within the same day. We ended up getting a sump pump put in as well as weeping tiles into the rec room and total cost was less than $3K. Our basement flooded(sump pump failure) not to long ago & our finished basement was trashed. during the course of the tear out we found 3 pretty significant cracks that weren't leaking but we felt we wanted them repaired just in case. The restoration company recommended Todd & his team at The Crack Specialists and we couldn't have been ahppier with their work. Firstly they worked around the schedule of the restoration company, they got their piece done on time under budget - exactly what we hope for. Having a lifetime guarantee is awesome as well.
