Pete The Plumber

Called on Thursday, Jan 29th, 2015 for a Furnace repair. I was very pleased to be offered an appointment for the next day, Friday Jan 30th, 2015. They gave me a 2 hour window between 3PM-5PM, which is respectable and not a burden since I was taking time off work.

Kim at the office was very polite and asked thoughtful questions regarding my repair. I couldn't answer everything but she left me multiple ways to reach her with added information which I thought was quite accommodating.

Randy arrived 15 minutes earlier than the 2 hour estimate range, which worked well for me. The service was fast, professional and courteous. He had to leave to go get some parts, but it took him virtually no time at all. All said and done, from the time he first walked in the door to the time he left only took 1 hour (and that includes the time it took for him to go get the parts he needed).

I was pleasantly surprised at the price. I had previously sought to use prominent furnace repair company and they wanted a flat rate that was much higher than what I paid with Pete the Plumber. Plus, the other furnace guy said I should just replace the furnace (my motor had died), where as Randy at Pete the Plumber gave me an idea of how much life was left on my furnace, so I had the information I needed to make that decision for myself.

I picked Pete because I met some of their people at the home show and I remember thinking they were solid guys. I am really happy I choose them for this work and I will most certainly be calling them out for all future services I need that they offer.

I am very satisfied with the work these guys do. I called in for emergency leaking and a guy was on site in not even 30 minutes! Very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The leak was located and fixed in 40 minutes (and it appeared to be NOT what other plumber originally thought it was). Thought I hope I would not need to call them any time soon, but I would definitely recommend them to anyone!

I called Pete the plumber for his Electrical service to wire up a new Air switch for my jetted tub! The electrician showed up on time! I had the wall cut open for him to access the box with the switch in it, all I asked him to do was wire the switch and possibly replace if necessary , sounded simple to me ! He couldn't figure it out, said he's never worked on tubs before , I said your working on the electrical wiring that's why I called the electrical side of the business! I was Charged $180.00 for 2hours labour including a service call and he left me with the same problem not fixed?? I was very disappointed with the service or lack there of! I ended up repairing the tub myself !
Not what I expected from a company of this caliber!

I received a Call From the General Manager Jackie Prince! After talking with Jackie and explaining what had happened, she assured me they Stood behind the company's policy of their customer being 100% satisfied with Pete the Plumber and all the services they offer!
it is not policy to come to a customer's home and leave without fixing the problem! They work together with you to fix the issue you may have! Jackie restored my faith in the company, my problem was resolved and I have no hesitation In recommending this Reputable Company!

This company (Pete the Plumber) is a complete disaster. Do not under any circumstance make contact with this company. The serviceman Br*nd*n is completely incompetent. I strongly suggest choosing another company to do business with.

I had a broken faucet and had Pete the plumber staff come out. They came in and were friendly. They offer a great service with a great price. I would recommend them to my family and friends!

We hired them to come and fix a leak in the water main. The plumber came and fixed the leak, no problem. He took off the ground wore for grounding the electricity in the house and couldn't put it back. He said it was all rusty and had to be replaced. I thought that he could hAve told me before he started. We had to hire pete the electrician and spending an extra $175 for his 15min visit.

Called Pete to fix some other people's work. Three small projects, but I wanted them done right rather than messing with them myself. They dispatched a boy genius who was courteous and remarkably efficient. We are really happy with the work, timeliness and cost.

Removed old toilet, cleaned out everything and upgraded the floor seat (reason the old toilet was leaking) Installed new low volume flush toilet and seat. Cleaned the work site and took all the old toilet material away. Very professional job

Ordered a 40 gallon hot water tank to be installed which replaced my current 65 gallon tank. Installer got to the home (which is my rental so I was not there) and decided not install the 40 gallon tank as he figured I would want a 65 gallon. I was away on holidays which I told the lady when I booked the appt so I was not able to be reached. Because of this the installer just decided on his own that he didn't want to install it and left. I phoned when I returned from holidays only to speak to a rude call taker who basically blamed me for why the tank wasn't installed. Because of the poor service I decided not to rebook. A day later I came to notice that my credit card had been charged $63 for a service call. Spend some money on your customer service Pete instead of expensive commercials.
