I asked Rudy to rebuild out chimney from the roof-line up. Our chimney is a twin stack, with one half servicing a gas furnace with a metal liner, the other half for a wood burning fireplace.
Rudy was responsive to my calls, provided information via email when I asked him, and had a great attitude. I got several other quotes for the job, and while many were from 'older' masons I felt comfortable that Rudy's commitment to doing exceptional work would make him a good choice. I was wrong, he was simply an outstanding choice.
Rudy took 2 days to complete the rebuild, he was careful with demolishing the chimney, and ensured no property damage occurred as the chimney came down. While taking down the old chimney and rebuilding the new one, he worked around the existing liner without removing or damaging it, and so avoided any replacement costs.
Rudy and his team were professional, accommodating, and courteous at all times while they worked on our house. Due to the weather earlier in the month we ended up scheduling the chimney rebuild on the same day we re-shingled the roof. Having two different companies on the roof at the same time, working around each other, could have been a problem, but Rudy's accommodating attitude made it easy and painless.
Rudy is dedicated, conscientious, and meticulous about his craft. Our chimney looks fantastic, and other than standing to perfection, you would never know that it was rebuilt, it is a perfect match to the house.
