I will never recommend this company to anyone due to our poor customer service experience. We switched to a digital phone system and called Omnibus to inform them of our new phone. Omnibus informed us that their security system was not compatible with a digital phone system and therefore their alarm/security monitoring was not working. We were informed we would need to purchase an updated system from Omnibus to be compatible with our digital phone. Because we had paid one year in advance, we were paying months for their service that did not work with our digital phone. When we received the new contract I told them that since their alarm system was not working with our new phone, that we would not renew our contract as we would essentially be paying for no service. We were informed that we had to pay the full amount of monitorying service (one year in advance) because we had not sent them a letter 30 days in advance to cancel their services. When I told them I did not see the sense if paying $216 + for a service that would not work, I was informed that I would be referred to a collection agency if I did not pay the amount in 5 days or less. When I tried to discuss the logic of paying $200+ for a service that would not work, I was told "Read your contract". To add insult to injury, they even added "delinquent charges" to my $216+ bill.
A word of warning to anyone who switches to any kind of phone system different from the one present when your system was installed as your Omnibus system may not work with the new phone and you too will be paying for sbsolutely nothing.
