This is undoubtedly the worst retail experience I can remember. I wish I had read all the negative reviews about the owners attitude which have been posted both on yelp and google! Had I done so I never would have taken my miele vacuum to the owner for advice. I called because my much loved Miele s4000 series needed cleaning but was still working well as I had taken care of it over the years. The owner told me that it would cost about $200 to take the motor apart to clean it so why didn’t I upgrade. I agreed provided we could find something quieter than my existing model. He said I could have a “new out of the box” miele model limited edition c2 which would be much better for $329 provided I pay cash or debit card. He would not let me try it on the floor because it “would get dirty” but I trusted him. He charged me tax even though I paid with debit. No problem. Upon using the vacuum at home I experienced a few problems so called him. He was immediately so rude and hostile. I insisted on bringing the vacuum in for him to test. The bag holder had broken off and he told me that this was completely my fault. I asked him to test the suction and he said “how can I do this with no filter and no vacuum bag”. I said please do not worry I will pay for bag and filter. He said he would have to order the part. Later that day he called Nd said all was fixed but it was completely my fault that the dust bag holder had fallen out. He charged me $40 for a new bag of filters. No good will there! Anyway the vacuum is different than my original and when I tried to explain this he said that he would give me back an original model. I told him I didn’t understand this as I had already given him my vacuum And paid for the “upgrade”. He then said he had used my vacuum for parts which is ridiculous of course. Terribly upsetting. Don’t usually write reviews but wish I had. Tape recording of this man’s conversation with me. There was someone else in the shop at the time who can confirm this encounter. Never recommend this establishment.
