Royal Decks And Landscapes

We had Royal Decks put in our new raised deck and were thrilled with the entire process beginning to end. They were responsive from day 1 (we had issues with many company's never responding or coming to quote and then radio silence).To start, they had a great design process where they put together a full design and showed us renderings of what it would look like in our backyard (allowing us to see different options we were considering which was super helpful). They took care of getting building permits, had a show house for what the materials looked like and the construction was timely and faster than we expected. Overall we would highly recommend Royal Decks and Landscapes!

Our 22 year-old treated lumber deck had seen better days and needed to be replaced. We met with several contractors, including Miro of Royal Decks and Landscapes. We instantly liked his low-key, knowledgeable style. He listened carefully and patiently to what we wanted, and offered excellent suggestions on how to improve on our initial thoughts.

Construction projects are always a major disruption, but Royal Decks made ours a really pleasant experience. The 2-man crew that Royal Decks assigned to our project was outstanding, and we have nothing but great stuff to say about them. They were both incredibly friendly, easy-going, and highly productive. It is clear that they both care deeply about doing everything perfectly - and the results are consistent with that.

Royal Decks are definitely not the least expensive option, but they're absolutely amazing, the quality of their work is impeccable, and well worth the price. If we had to do it all over again the only thing we'd change is not to waste any time looking at other companies.

When we initially met with Miro, we didn’t really know how to best use our backyard space. Miro was very patient and took the time to understand us and our constraints. He came back with some sound advice and proposals that we loved!

Every step of the way, we worked with professionals who kept us informed and stress-free. There were no surprises- we have the landscaping, deck, and pergola that we expected. l have to particularly thank Steve, our Project Manager and his team, Arthur, Chris, who really made this a great experience for us.

MIro and his team at Royal Decks were amazing to deal with from start to finish. They are very professional, hard working and you can see they take immense pride in the the services & work they do. Miro explained the process and timing for our deck rebuild. The team that completed the demolition of the old deck were great. They cleared and cleaned up the old material and ready the space for the new deck. The crew that completed the install of the new deck and replaced our fence gates were amazing as well. They took care of everything. We are so happy with the end result and would highly recommend Royal Decks.

There were so many companies out there that install decking and interlock that the search for a contractor that I had some confidence in took time. Eventually Royal Decks won out. I decided beforehand that my deck would be PVC and the walkway slightly raised in sections. Miro was able to fill in all the details of colour and final design etc. A special thanks for Arthur on the deck and Chris for the walkways. The quality and attention to detail was high. There were one or two slight imperfections notice afterwards, but overall my expectations were exceeded. Improvements were made to my window well, and grading during the installation that was very much appreciated. I will not hesitate to call Royal Decks again when I get around to re-doing my front entrance next.

A complete transformation of our deck; we couldn't be happier! A great big thank you to Miro and his team (Art, Mike, Steve, Jamie and Anita); you were all a pleasure to deal with. Our deck has become a welcome extension to our home; it is functional, beautiful and worth every penny. We have never used it nor enjoyed it as much as we do now!

We got a deck built by Royal Decks 11 years ago and this year decided to use the same company to install some patio stones around it and in the front design. Miro did a nice design and choose colors of patio stones that matches our house. The crew took their time to do things right and the material used underneath (landscape fabric, bedding, aluminum edging etc) look to be of good quality. The result was fantastic and we receive compliments from neighbours.

From their initial quote + advice on a deck + materials suitable for our yard, through building, to the final cleanup and review of the final product, the team gave us their full attention and was always happy to discuss + update. Regular check-ins occurred and there was a clear interest in making sure the project proceeded smoothly and in a timely manner.
