New floor in living/dining room
We were in a position where we had to get our house ready for sale in lightning speed, and our floors were in terrible shape. David Bain from Rafina suggested, due to the timing and cost, that we lay a pre-finished floor on top of the existing damaged floor. The job took only one day with virtually no mess. Installing the new floor eliminated about 80% of the squeaks in the old floor, as it was nailed right through to the sub-floor. The material David suggested, pre-finished white oak, turned out to be gorgeous and a great match for the laminate in our kitchen. The visual impact the new floor made to our home was spectacular. We got many, many positive comments during the showings and our only regret is that we will only have a short time to enjoy the floor before we move because the house sold in less than a week.
