The last review was unecessary and my appologies to Carmen. It was partly my fault as well. The driveway is very strong and no worries about sinking. I would have him do it again.

While Vito and his crew do good work there were issues with lack of finishing. They failed to glue three of the six top stones on the retaining wall. I called Vito and he did eventually come and correct the issue.

As for quality of the work we have been happy with both the driveway and the retaining wall.

I had park paving do my driveway. They covered the city water shut off valve. It took a while to get it fixed. However, as promised, Vito came himself an fixed it carefully without damaging my newly paved driveway. I am very happy with their work

My experience with this company and its principal officers has not been a good one. Within a few days of driveway paving (June 2022) a split appeared in the new asphalt. It would seem to be an easy repair for the company at the start by heating the asphalt and pressing the split together. ( This possible solution was noted, but not followed up, by a principal officer during a later viewing.)

I contacted the company within the first few days of laying the asphalt and requested they view and repair it as per the written contract 2-year guarantee. Since that date -16 months- I was in frequent contact with them through emails and telephone discussions about the problem including having sent them a picture of the split as an attachment to an email early in the communications. They did later reply to this email but failed to acknowledge the picture provided. I received numerous assurances that the problem would be fixed. It became obvious that through their continual stalling tactics, they had no intention to correct the situation and I just gave up any dependence on them to resolve.

The company can do a good job as shown by the area driveways they completed, but when problems develop the company avoids its written contract guarantee obligation with continual assurances, both written and verbal, that fail to materialize.

The lower rating is based on the lack of after-service they have displayed.

I would not recommend this company if any reliance was to be placed on their written or verbal guarantee to stand behind their service.

The end result of my driveway was very good. My major complaint is lack of communication. I tried many times to contact Carmen and the calls were not returned. Frustrating customer service.
We were told we were next to be done for weeks. It was a process that I do not want to repeat.
Hopefully the driveway holds up well.

Carmen was very friendly and approachable at the estimates and was calling to book the sale, but when I mentioned my neighbour bailed on doing both sides, he stopped returning my calls and texts, TWICE. I get its a hassle to do one side of driveway when dealing with a shared, but I still need it completed and didn't deserve to be ghosted, twice. It's a shame when a company with a good rep decides your driveway isn't worth their time. Back to the hunt of trying not to get ripped off by some other company.

Park Paving completed the side and back laneways of my commercial property in September 2015. At the time, the job looked great upon completion. However, this year, much of the paving has become cracked and broken due to substantial plant encroachment and weed growth. As well, the grading was too high near the back entrance and water seepage is occurring during heavy rain periods. I have phoned Park Paving on 4 separate occasions since the beginning of May to kindly inquire about these issues and to have someone request to take a look. Each time, a secretary or reception person received my call and promised to forward my issue. Not once has any of my 4 calls been returned. It is not necessarily the work I am disappointed about, it is the lack of service afterwards that is concerning. All new work looks great but if the company is completely ignoring requests to follow up or address issues than any potential client should be concerned.

Park Paving dug up and repaved my driveway in Oct. 2011. Just a few months past the 2 year warranty period (funny how that's always the case) and my driveway developed several cracks, including a major one that extends the whole width. There was also the odd bit of grass growing through the asphalt along the driveway edge. I called them a couple times back in 2014 but they don't return phone calls. I regret ever having my driveway re-done. It doesn't look much better than before and the previous paving job had been done 20 yrs. ago. Too bad I couldn't remember the name of that company, I would have called them instead!

I requested a quote for a driveway resurface and Carmen was prompt getting back to me and came to provide a quote, we agreed on the quote and we gave $500 deposit in 2021 and they were to start April 2022. Now since then have heard nothing from Carmen or Park Paving, I have sent 3 emails to the company website and left a message and texted Carmen 4 times requesting a refund of our deposit. Very disappointed as we were recommended to use them from our neighbor and now out $500. I wouldn't recommend them as customer service and communication is very poor unless they are trying to get your business!

UPDATE:
Well I have an update to my review, I have spoken to Vito by phone on August 15 from Park Paving regarding my review and came to an agreement to refund my $500 deposit! As I said this was August 15 and to this day September 20 have heard nothing from this company. I would consider other paving companies as they were not the cheapest but because a neighbor had their driveway done by them I could see the product and chose to have it done by them. We agreed on a price and Carmen requested a $500 deposit, reasonable I thought and gave him a cheque which has been cashed by the way but that was March 11, 2021 and still waiting on my money back!

Poor quality n customer service, think twice before calling this company.
Told would get top quality job and product but far from the truth, after paying Carmen he left before job was even complete. Never came back to check the job, have hills and indents and a lot of voids. Come winter it will probably crack and separate. 1 Muir Crescent Whitby
