We had Goldwell Restoration remove flagstone and rebuild our front entrance concrete stairs.

We are well-versed in having contractors do various large and small jobs at our residence. I was initially surprised that Goldwell asked for a small payment to get a quote but it was well worth it (plus the payment counts toward any work done). I had quotes from other companies but they didn't seem interested in doing work on our stairs unless it involved major work (major $). Kris from Goldwell came to look at our stairs, and unlike the other companies, took the time to examine the stairs and make clear recommendations. We hired them and everyone was a pleasure to work with. This included Kris, Monika in the office and Peter (aka Kamil), who did the majority of the work. We ran into a snag when they discovered some issues with the concrete under the flagstone. That meant some additional costs, but these were impossible to have foreseen until removing the flagstone. I respect the fact that they addressed the issues to ensure that the work was impeccable and would be long lasting. I also respect that they used high-grade concrete and other materials.

In the end, the stairs look great and the work was done with pride. Peter clearly took the job as a challenge (our stairs are quite unique with boulders built in) and took great care with his work.

Happy to recommend them to anyone needing concrete work!

Cement cracking

Hi. This is belated review but I said I'd review them and so here I am.

I had cement finishing installed may 2017 and Apr 2018 there was already cracks. Called them on Apr 10, 2018 and told me to send photos. After subsequent follow emails I received reply on May 2, 2018 from Michael. They came by that week to inspect the damage and blamed it on underlying concrete had shifted. My quote came back finally ok may 16, 2018 of $3k fix for something that was installed less than a year ago. Why would I go pay them to fix if it's going to crack again? I told them I was not happy with their apparent "warranty" and lack of responsiveness.

Please send me a copy of your invoice as I have checked your project file and according to that we have done a cracks repairs on the EXISTING concrete and apply California Knockdown overlay.
Our warranty is for the bonding to the EXISTING SURFACE. Any structure shifting causing the concrete cracking, physical damage etc...is excluded.
We have done the inspection and send a quote for additional repairs with 3 options.
The last time I have contacted you was Aug 07/20 and you have not responded if you decided to do this repairs or not.

Goldwell restoration is a very professional company, we had assessment performed before work has began and received quote for the work. We had a team of guys arrived at cleaned the floor first with the machines, the results of complete work is amazing, we really now can enjoy additional space that we have.

Redo of double car garage cement pad

There was a major crack and sinkhole under my elderly parents double car garage. The pad had collapsed several inches making it unusable and an obvious safety hazard. Refinished porch

Cold Room waterproofing

Goldwell Restoration recently water proofed my cold room . From start to finish the whole team was very professional . Both Luke and Mark covered all the areas , grinder the walls to expose concrete and also suggested installing an extra vent . They applied the permaseal and throughout the house was very clean and spotless . Cold room is now fully functional.

A great company to work with. The office is extremely efficient. Cris who came out to evaluate what had to be done and lastly the people who did the work worked efficiently and made sure that the job was completely finished.
