We contracted with Dodds to replace our garage door and opener in early November. We are EXTREMELY PLEASED with the service we received and our new garage door and opener. Our one garage door opener stopped working and as I suspected, it was the gears that had stripped. The technician (Joe) came right before Christmas, on time, and gave us an estimate on what it would cost to have the unit fixed. He also gave us options on replacement units and since the old one was 16yrs old, we elected to go with a new one which he installed VERY quickly and thoroughly. All the while I watched and he explained what he was doing and why, made some recommendations for what might be useful in the future and when we came across a bucket of parts that were obviously for the other, working, garage door opener, that had been installed by the previous owner, he installed those as well -- for free!
I would not hesitate to use Dodds again if anything goes wrong or if we decided to implement some of his suggestions. They were quick, accurate, friendly and VERY helpful, and the charge was very reasonable too!!!

I had searched on Homestars looking for a garage door company to replace the original door that came with our house. We chose Dodds Doors and were not disappointed. From the after 6pm at home personal consultation to the perfect install, Doods Doors delivers with white glove service. We are very, very happy and will continue to refer them!

a few years back I used an outfit called pro-master garage service for a garage door service. I found them out of the yellow pages, instead of homestars. what a big mistake. I now believe from that company I was sold stuff I didn't need and that I was gouged. I vowed next time I had a garage door problem i would go on homestars. I did and chose Dodds and they were fast and easily half the price of my last repair, and very courteous. A word of advice.. don't necessarily go for the cheapest call out price, like I did before.
