My relatively high-end Amana fridge stopped cooling but the lights were still working. I called the manufacturer (Whirlpool) from the manual, who was going to charge $85 just to come out, plus $25 per 15 minute increment, before cost of parts or tax!! They suggested I needed a whole new fridge (about $1600 for my model) since they thought it sounded like a compressor replacement (a bit deal).

I went online and called the first 5 repair people on this site with positive reviews, and Joe was the first to return my call. He arrived the next day, on time. He immediately replaced a relay on the fridge. The whole thing, including his visit fee and the new relay, was $120.

I could not be more happy!! Joe is the best.
