You know, some inspectors/ contractors like to take something and exaggerate to a point as if it is the worst thing they have ever seen! There is no question that an inspector cannot downplay an issue, but it is simply amazing some of the stuff that I hear from other inspectors. Contractors I understand, hey, some are trying to make as much money as they can, but the inspectors should be looking out for the person who hires them, trying to be reasonable as possible.
