With only a few days left until the deadline to submit our 1 year forms to Tarion, we decided to hire a Home Inspector to inspect our home for defiencies that we may have missed. We also decided at last minute to use a home inspector to ensure that our house had no major problems. Searching the internet and then homestars we came across a few companies. After reading through the reviews, and speaking on the phone with Brent from Classic Home Inspections, we decided to have him inspect our home, over another company. He sounded the most honest, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He was also able to do the inspection with such short notice. On the day of the inspection, he was very thorough. We are very happy that he had found some deficiencies that we had missed which included another foundation wall crack and a water leakage. He later provided us with the photos with the deficiencies. Overall, a good home inspection.

Thank you so much for the kind words and review sclo! I really appreciate it! Ah to get and inspection for the new home, good idea or a waste of money? That is the question! So many people contemplate to get one or not. I think most who have are glad they hired me. Whether it is to confirm problems that they know or just for the piece of mind. In your case, I think it was a little surprising to find a leak in the basement with some mold starting to grow. Not something someone would expect in a brand new home. However, I caught it, and now it can be dealt with. Hopefully all runs smoothly with the homebuilder and fixing the problem. Thanks again, and thank you for choosing Classic Home Inspections!
